Magnificent rooms, old Hollywood charm, old school staff

Beds are so very very comfortable. Hard to get out of them!! Loved this place. Would definitely stay here again.

This is such a nice hidden gem!! The property is GORGEOUS, the staff was so so kind. I got one of the larger suite rooms and it was incredible. Very charming property and the decor is lovely. A perfect little European feeling getaway near the beach.

location good - state of room / bathroom / broken window openings etc for the price not worth it. Staff however were all very helpful and pleasant

Pretty cool new boutique hotel taking a heritage apartment building from way back. Very interesting and funky. Not a full service hotel but good cafe, good location etc.

Staff was very helpful and always blessed us with a smile. The architecture and charm carries over throughout the hotel - if the beautiful bathtub was bigger we may not have had any reason to leave the room. Food/drink service is only available until 3pm so plan to enjoy it - the lobby and grounds are so peaceful and beautiful to work from or enjoy a breather. The loaner bikes came in handy for a ride to Venice Beach, although there is so much within walking distance you dont need them. Our stay included days of pickleball, horseback riding and walks on the promenade & pier. We missed seeing the fitness room until our last night but we will be sure to incorporate it on our next visit. We recommend West Side Oyster Club for the nostalgia and key lime pie.

Interior just amazing!

The staff was helpful even before we arrived in the property by explaining the parking situation since the property is in a residential area. They were courteous and kind and very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable; the view we got from our balcony was amazing. Overall, a great stay.

We loved staying at this very quiet, beautiful hotel. So different than your corporate chain hotels. Absolutely wonderful staff. Food offerings were splendid as well.

Classic elegance, quiet, charm.

Great location, great building and room, the staff were very courteous and accommodating. Though for the price I'd have wanted better advice on parking without the $65 + tip fee, and perhaps some small breakfast items included.
