The Huntley Hotel

The Huntley is my top choice when I stay in Santa Monica- I always have a good experience here. Clean, quiet rooms, and very helpful and friendly staff.

A hefty amenity fee but not for anything, there's no pool or spa (there are bikes you can use, but nothing else). Fitness center is tiny, impractical for more than 1-2 people at a time. Was charged $5 for a small drip coffee that was cold. Hotel was clean and new but felt like it was trying to be Miami in LA, and just the vibe felt off to us. If the club music can be heard many floors below, the hotel should tell us this at check in.

My daughter and I stayed here for two days before flew to Japan. The staff were very accommodating, pleasant and knowledgeable. The room was beautiful and the amenities were wonderful. I would 100% recommend. Please note there is a $45 amenity fee per day only thing that took me by surprise.

Staff were friendly but checked me into a room that wasn’t ready and I waited for over an hour to find out that it wasn’t functional. Got a better room, though. Food is excellent

The hotel is excellent in every respect and sits in a perfect location to enjoy Santa Monica. The staff were friendly and professional. The restaurant on the 17th floor has really good food and drinks as well as beautiful views of the beach and and the city. Room service menu is also very good. My wife and loved it.

Great hotel

Customer Service is top notch. The beds are very comfortable and shower is delightful. Cant beat the location! Close to everything Santa Monica has to offer! Not really a problem just an observation. On the weekends if you stay on a higher floor the sound of the music in the Penthouse is pretty loud. I prefer a lower floor corner room. Don’t need an ocean view since we come here often. 0

The view from the room was excellent! It's on a bluff so you have to cross over the highway to get to the beach, but it's quite walkable to the water and to the pier. Just across from Palisades Park and just around the corner from Michael's, which was our event destination. The room was large and comfy and the walk-in closet that we could use as a changing room was great. We ended up LOVING the upstairs Penthouse restaurant. The hostess tells us the chef came from Michael's. We tried it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and had a memorable experience each time. For birthdays at dinner, the guest gets a festive sparkler at the table. Even the accessible stall in the women's restaurant at the Penthouse has a view. :) Hugo at the front desk was extremely helpful -- and really all the staff seemed excellent. The toilet was crowded up against the shower door -- very cramped. Loved the decor -- BUT the glass elevator faces a wall of fake greens. Real succulents recommended. Not having a fridge or any fridge space was the biggest inconvenience. It was all minibar. Supposedly you could request a fridge, first come/first serve. I was surprised there wasn't a room safe -- but not a big deal.

Top class hotel in ideal location. Very clean and our room was very large with a walk in wardrobe which was superb. All the family enjoyed our stay and would recommend as a great place to stay in Santa Monica.

The cafe was nice for quick snacks and coffee. The room was clean and well appointed. I had a small dog with me and the hotel was very accommodating. I would highly recommend this hotel for location , many restaurants within walking distance. There were also families with children and business people

From the moment my car pulled up to the entrance, the staff provided an absolutely delightful experience. The valet service was incredibly efficient and welcoming, immediately setting a positive tone for my arrival. This exceptional level of care extended seamlessly through the entire check-in process, where every interaction was marked by genuine warmth and professionalism. What truly stood out was the remarkable attentiveness of everyone I encountered; it felt as though each member of the team was actively anticipating my needs and eager to assist in any way possible. This consistent and proactive approach to hospitality made me feel genuinely valued and looked after during my entire stay. I was thoroughly impressed and loved every aspect of it!
