We loved our stay here, and would not hesitate to come back. It's a very fresh, cool boutique hotel, with a super short walk across the street to the beach and 10min from the Santa Monica pier. Staff were very kind, helpful and attentive. We only did 1 afternoon at the pool(s) which are small but clean and totally fine. Outdoor bar is lovely. Our room was spacious, with a beautifully updated bathroom and ocean view. Absolutely loved it!

This hotel does not stand out for its ambiance, amenities, concierge, staff, room service delivered in a bag (who does that?), early check-in charged at $75.00, and 20% off food that you can’t use towards room service (only in the restaurant), or it’s menu options that are limited. It’s better to pay a little extra for a beautiful hotel on the waterfront that would total around the amount you pay after you get your final bill. They charge you for everything, so they can say they are a resort. Clearly they are not a resort and far from it! Next time, I will stay somewhere where I know about all the fees upfront, discounts and how they apply, amenities and extra costs, and a place where they truly accommodate me and my family not my wallet.

The rooms are very well designed and the overall atmosphere of the hotel is perfect for a relaxing vacation. They have poorly insulated connective doors and you can hear everything from the other room. I recommend asking for a room without a connective door.

Great location close to everything but not too crazy touristy. Great restaurants nearby, including yummy ramen and Mexican food. Loved the room decor. Very relaxing. Also great cocktails by the pool. Would definitely come back!
