Hotel Faranda Alisas Santander, Ascend Hotel Collection

No parking made available that was key as I’m a blue badge holder and was main criteria. The hotel lacked any facilities and was the highest priced hotel I considered and it was very disappointing

Shower was excellent and the towels were fluffy soft and thick. Staff very helpful and friendly. Air conditioning. Very close to railway and bus station. Street noise (we had a room facing street). Also quite a walk from the beach.

Good location I spent £580 for 3 nights and the price absolutely did not match the experience. I'm ok with a no frills 2 star hotel, but for this price I expect at least a working shower and pillow cases. I asked for pillow cases and the staff gave them to me for self assembly, instead of apologising for the blip and reassuring me they'd take care of it themselves while I was out. As for the shower, I only made a comment about it on check out because i could still hold it in my hand and wash and I assumed they were not going to be able to help with the missing shower holder. I didn't want to chase essential things while on holidays, but in hindsight I should have said something earlier as that was clearly unacceptable. Cleanliness was also quite poor: from the various hair in the bathroom and bed, to the sticky chairs and crockery in the breakfast area. I'd normally be fine with this kind of experience but for no more than half the price!! It honestly felt like daylight robbery.

It was a quiet hotel the staff where friendly and helpful the location was perfect the shopping centre and bars restaurants where 10 min walk from the hotel.

Location was central to station Breakfast adequate. Coffe good Very shoddy hotel. Substandard Rated 4 star in booking . Com but 2 star at hotel Barely acceptable Lobby was bare. No water in dispensers . No water in room despite temps 29 degrees Advised we could drink tap water No tea/ coffee in room Doors in bathrooms didn’t close as wood rotten from shower leakages. Mobile air con unit sounded like a plane engine I do not recommend this hotel

Location very central,quiet street,large room Air conditioning unit very big and noisy,bathroom delapodated with poor lighting,no hand soap and s broken bun and damaged door.Id booked a parking space but turned out there wasn't one for us..The hotel needs to be much clearer about this car booking process on Booking .Com! We spent an hour having to find parking at 11.30pm! Expensive for what it was.

Si me pareció algo a resolver , es que el equipo de aire acondicionado es MOVIL y esta dentro del dormitorio cerca de las camas y cuando lo encendíamos el ruido era muy importante sobre todo a la noche cuando dormíamos.un descanso a medias..

Easy access to the train and port and the staff were very helpful. Room was warm and stuffy. Needs a fan at minimum.

Facilities,location. No wi fi in our room, didn't offer a solution, they should let people know before hand that there is no wi fi on that room.
