Hotel Náutico Santander

The room was exactly as advertised, it was cleaned daily and had all the facilities we needed. The location was approx. 10-15 min from the central bus station and a bit industrial but other than that everything was great.

The property is walking distance (20min) from the bus and train stations. It’s a little bit away from the tourist beaches, and across the street from a grocery store- very convenient. The train runs right behind. You don’t hear it very much, but it’s there.

Very clean and the staff were friendly. The location is a bit far from back the station and the ferry port and this means quite a long walk.

Clean and comfortable with a good breakfast. Very attentive staff. Parking available for a fee. I would stay there again. The property’s was fine but the location could have been better.

Air conditioner was not working and it got too hot. There’s no reception service at night so we could not ask someone for solving it.

Very helpful folks at the Nautico Santander. We enjoyed our stay.

Could not be better for ferry travellers. 5 mins drive from the port, 15 minutes from the famed (and very good value) restaurants of the fishing port. Only the traffic in the one-way street outside: but the hotel can do nothing about that, and there are 2 x 10-min parking spaces outside for unloading - plus a reasonable (14 euros) garage behind the hotel. The garage entrance is before the hotel in the street, so you have to drive across 3 lanes, cut down a side street then go back on the parallel street and cut down back in order to reach it - but as long as you are careful, it's fine.

great value, conveniently located. The evening staff was amazing. When taking a shower the water floods the bathroom floor and there was evidence of mold forming as a result. We arrived late at night, the following morning I went down to the lobby and asked if I could get a cup of coffee, they have a basic coffee maker that uses pods and does not require any labor. The manager of the hotel denied it because it was past breakfast time. There’s no signage or information about when one can get a cup of coffee. I asked if I could get some hot water instead (I travel with instant coffee) she refused to provide hot water. The simple things go a long way for someone who’s traveling. A simple gesture will get you a lifelong customer.

Convenient location for the port. Secure reasonably priced secure parking. Comfortable room. Friendly helpful staff Cafe now only open for breakfast.

comfy room for an overnight stay - would book again

this hotel was perfect both in location and quality for visiting Santander or if you need an overnight stay before boarding a ferry there were no bad points to this hotel
