The Singular Santiago

Absolutely everything was perfect. The staff at this hotel are amazing - literally every single one we encountered greeted us with a smile and friendly, professional service. Nothing was too much trouble, and the care and kindness we were shown when we got sick halfway through our trip is something we'll always remember. The hotel itself is lovely, and in one of the best parts of Santiago to stay. The room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully appointed. My wife visited the spa on our second day and loved it, and the restaurant and rooftop bar were wonderful. I only wish we'd had longer, but we'll be back.

The staff was super friendly! The location was great and I enjoyed the breakfast. The room I was in was a bit run down with stains on the carpet and some wear and tear.

Staff were super kind and very helpful. Our flight was late in the evening and they let us rest in one of their living rooms and to freshen up in their spa.

The location and friendly staff. My room was very noisy from street music and when I complained I was moved to 8 story but the noise of air conditioning units outside (on the roof) was very load. I did not get much sleep. It is extremely overpriced

Beautiful hotel in a vibrant neighborhood. It was a perfect end to our Chilean vacation. Room was elegant and comfortable. Appreciated the quality toiletries and bottled water. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choices. Excellent orange juice. Lots of restaurants and bars in the area. Would definitely stay here again. The serving size of meats and cheese at breakfast could be smaller for an individual serving! I think there were 6 slices of Serrano ham, same for the cheese. Two or three slices would have been plenty to eat with my baguette. The menu could indicate the serving size to help customers order properly and avoid waste.

Lovely hotel that’s centrally located. Very friendly staff. We enjoyed the rooftop bar and restaurant.

Understated with the feeling of true luxury. Large enough to have a great restaurant and rooftop pool and yet in intimate where you don’t have a load of people waiting for service at the front desk. In fact, if you needed something in your room, it was handled within a few minutes. Roofer nicely appointed. Parking was close just down the street, but not within the building. Not a big deal.

The location was excellent. Central to everything you want to visit and see, yet safe enough to walk around at night and day. This was our second time here since it is so perfect.

My overall impression of the hotel is mixed. We checked in at night, around 1 AM. After the trip, we asked for a bottle of wine, but it turned out the bar was closed, room service was not available, and there was no alcohol in the minibar. Come on guys — this is a 5-star hotel. How can you not have at least a bottle of wine in the minibar? This is absolutely unacceptable for a hotel of this level! Other downsides: the air conditioning worked very poorly, the rooftop pool is tiny — basically just a puddle — and the level of service does not match the hotel’s rating (we had to ask staff twice just to bring water).

Comfortable rooms, friendly service, beautiful rooftop bar, good food at the restaurants. They allowed to use their facilities after checking out to prepare for the flight. I would have liked more communication before the check in, about arrival etc.

Good location Booked a room at the property for 2 nights, since we had an early flight on the morning of day 3. On the second day, we had to stay out of our room all afternoon (from 1pm to approx 6pm) due to a hot water issue, and since we where leaving the hotel at 2am, the plan was to rest in the room until we had to leave for the airport. We were given complimentary massages since there where no other rooms available per the front desk. When we returned to the room, we found that housekeeping probably moved one of the beds and completely wrecked a brand new phone charger. That night, when we went to check out, the front desk staff made us wait about 10 mins until he finished his nightly report on the computer, so that we could settle the bill. The broke charger was given to the front desk, who said he was going to inform housekeeping, but did not offer to replace our charger. This was far from a 5 star stay.

A stunning hotel, renovated and looked after with love. Huge room and bathroom, with an excellent balcony overlooking Lastarria. Top facilities, including a rooftop pool and bar. Staff went above and beyond, and were welcoming and friendly. Probably the best hotel, in the best area of Santiago! The 5-star price!
