Red Hotel Centric Santiago

I didnt have the key of my room. The management is really complicated. Its more of a motel than a hotel. Not recommended for more than a night. The lobby is in the parking lot.

No wifi at all when it was advertised they did

The price is cheap, and the location is very good in the city, with a large market nearby where you can buy everything you need. The hotel room has no closet, no hangers, no windows, and no drawers. There is nowhere to put your things. The shower is uncomfortable and slippery, which could be dangerous. The elevator is out of order. The Wi-Fi is broken and doesn't work. The room hasn’t been cleaned. The staff doesn’t speak English. In the evening, the hotel closes, and it’s a big problem to either leave or enter the hotel.

Staff was nice and the bed was comfortable. The heating was also okay. The location was only a 5-10 minute walk into the city centre. you also had the possibility to park your car although I didn't do that. Red Hotel was not the best hotel that I had expected. The lobby was in the parking garage which was a bit strange. What was also quite strange is that there were 2 hotels in one building. The Red Hotel shared its facilities with the Love Motel. the walls were very thin making everything very noisy. The staff was nice despite the language barrier although strangely enough, I needed to convince the staff to give me my keys to my room because they said it was very expensive to replace the keys in case I lost them. the shower only had one mode and that was burning hot which was a bummer. The bed was nice but personally I would not stay here again although its good value for money!

Nothing Dirty rooms. Hairs on the bed. They turn power off at a certain time so cannot use heat-pump or power outlets. Water leaking from shower. Cold room. Can hear noise from the hallway. Had to wait 30 minutes for a room after making a reservation!

I chose this hotel because it was very inexpensive What I did not realize was that this was a hotel with hourly rates… In the United States that typically suggests a hotel that is used by less-than-savory and sometimes questionable or potentially illegal activities. The facilities definitely seemed to give off that vibe. There was no blanket on the bed, just a sheet and a thin bedspread. Facilities otherwise were not entirely well kept up, but I would’ve expected that with a very inexpensive budget hotel, so that wasn’t as much of a problem. They’re actually isn’t a “main door,” as such. To enter the hotel, one has to be allowed into the basement garage through a heavy sliding gate designed for cars. Further, the “front desk“ was something more like a parking garage attendant. Very strange situation overall. I will not go back there again.

The guys at the reception were nice They refused to give me a key when I left my room. They had assured me I would be able to order a taxi to the airport but when I called, the receptionist lady said "oh we don't do that" I had to call one myself and it got here late Thin walls, could hear a lot of yelling. No staff was there to great you or bring you to your room door. Room was cleaned even with the do not disturb sign on my door and my things were moved. Had barely any of the food items on their menu.

they gave us free wifi, and free beer/sodas. very good. and free television to watch too. the wifi connection was NOT strong enough.
