Garbage at gate

This is a place to stay ONLY to spend a night and ONLY if you are one of those people who can sleep anywhere, since the mattress is old and you tend to roll to the sides, and is too small for 2 people. Otherwise, don't stay here. Getting the instructions to get in wasn't easy, the manager sent me an email asking for my phone to send me the instructions. By the time I was able to get that email I was already at the door, not sure why she wouldn't sent the instructions on that same email. The window open to a wall, the whole place is crazy noisy, somebody was smoking somewhere and the entire building was smelling. There are only 3 places to park, so you may be out and have to leave the car anywhere else (and the place sits in an avenue with lots of cars all the time) There is a mini fridge and I assume there was a microwave in a box over it, not sure if the idea was for us to unboxing (??). Anyway, the room is just a room, impossible to cook there, there is a coffee machine but no coffee... it's all uncomfortable.

Appartement was still occupied, we had to wait one hour and half. AC did not work. We didn't receive the instructions via booking mail, tried to call. But only answer on WhatsApp. Before we send three times our requested WhatsApp without reaction.n

It was easy to find, I had communication with the host and everything was excellent, in fact we plan to return at the end of the year. Probably the parking, the property has only 3 parking spaces, if all 3 are occupied you must park your vehicle on the street. Our vehicle dawned on the street but everything was fine!!

It was very comfortable, and the location felt safe. The beds were great, and the shower had plenty of hot water. The staff was very noisy in the morning. Someone even entered the room while we were sleeping and quickly closed the door after realizing it.

Great location. Clean and pretty updated. Good shower. Usually quiet (not a given in the DR). Staff worked with us to check in after hours due to late bus arrival Required cash payment. Very adamant that no toilet paper be put in the toilet and we should take out the trash (we've stayed in 10+ locations in DR and this is the first where we had to deal with this kind of unpleasantness). There are multiple apartments in the building; we had 14 (one bed) and 18 (two beds). Photos of the listing were not representative of unit 14. We found maybe one photo of unit 18. Most of the photos were of units that are murch larger and lighter. Windows of our units faced cinder block wall. Beds were hard. All in all, not worth the price.
