Pamela was very nice, welcoming, and knowledgeable about the area. The room was clean and comfortable. No complaints!

Cozy, clean, quiet and an excellent local hotel for a very reasonable price. Good TV available, nicely working fridge, house coffee always available and comfortable rooftop terrace. Pamela at reception is a delightful young lady who made my stay as nice as possible. 24 hour locked gate and overnight security also.

Staff at front desk were great. Rooftop patio was really nice in the morning for breakfast and for just hanging out in the afternoon. It was really quiet there too for sleeping. Room was really small and had a bit of a damp smell to it. and it was really close at least walking distance to everything we wanted to see in the historic District.

The hotel stuff stole my property

I like that it looked like on the pictures. I saw some comments on hot water, but there were absolutely no issues with it, nor with AC. I would probably hesitate in booking again, cause of the bed experience, if it was fixed I would take it with no hesitation. The bed in our room was extremely squeaky- to the level we couldn't move at all while sleeping if one moved, they would wake themselves and the other person. The bed definitely needs to be fixed - the mattress itself was comfortable, but the bed frame needs to be fixed or replaced with a simpler frame. Breakfast - was supposed to start at 8, the person who is making breakfast arrived at 9 AM, and the breakfast itself wasn't good. We chose the toast, but the cheese used it in was very questionable, and ended up not eating it. The coffee was good though :) You can skip the breakfast always.

This is my happy place is SD. I’ve been staying here for over a year every time I go to Santo Domingo and I plan to stay many many more times. The place is clean, beautiful and comfortable and the staff is amazing from the owner to the guard. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Pamela helped me tremendously. She speaks great English. She knows the area well . Pamela is the the best hotel receptionist I’ve ever had provide me service .

The location and staff are superb The shower didn’t work so well, no hot water. Also the location is next to a small school so you may hear children in the early morning. Not a problem for me, since I was waking up early
