My husband and I spent a very relaxing week at Mahapala in May. The pool Villa - one of 20 is very spacious with plenty of cupboard, drawer and shelf spaces. The bed was very comfortable and pool and area outside is very easy to enjoy. Breakfast is a la carte and can be ordered to be in the villa or restaurant. Nothing was ever too much trouble from Rai in the office and Kusama in the bar area to the other many helpers on staff. The Villas are within walking distance of the beach and Icon and the many small restaurants on the street and if inclined a short walk to Sindhu night markets. The beach walk either north or south is easy and always fascinating. It is an ideal stay certainly suited to couples. We loved it and hope we can revisit

Staff are all extremely lovely and always happy to assist. The room was large and well kept - cleaned everyday with water replaced and towels if requested. The outdoor shower was great. And the pool outside your villa was a great way to cool off. You could also request breakfast brought to your villa - which is a nice touch. The lighting in the room could be brighter - the room is dark even with all the lights on. There isn't a great choice of breakfast foods - we basically had the same foods every day. Does get a bit boring when you're on holiday - and in a country where the food is fabulous! There's little choice at the bar - and you have to find someone to get you a drink. Socialising could be promoted a bit more. The restaurant never had anyone in it. We went for dinner on our first night and there was no one there - including staff. And we couldn't find anyone. So we went out. Don't go to Mahapala if you expect great food. Go to Mahapala for the lovely staff, nice big room, and definitely your own pool. And the location is fabulous - you're a minutes walk to the beach, five minutes walk to the mall, and close to so many different shopping areas and restaurants - which are amazing. I would definitely go back.

Great location close to the beachwalk warungs and restaurants. Modern villa with great private pool. Personalised towels, cups and mugs with our zodiac signs was a nice touch. Very comfortable bed. Outside shower with good water pressure and hot water. We were happy with everything about our stay.

Location. Easy access to the beach and restaurants etc. Staff are wonderful - very attentive to clients and their needs Cleanliness - needing attention. Property dated and needing care. Bath not suitable to anyone with mobility issues and shower is external.

Pool was lovely and not busy at all. Room was gorgeous. Air con wasn't very cool. Few gaps in the doors where the mozzies could come in but otherwise great! Very close to beach and bike riding round the water front. Great 1 night before heading to Lembongan.

Great spacious villa next to the beach and everything you need - have stayed here before and absolutely love it! The location, the staff, the breakfast was amazing! Nothing was an issue Just need to turn the water feature off at night in the pool if possible for sleeping

Breakfast was terrible, we didn't order it after the first day Great rooms and pool and main pool area. Locks and swipe card access to rooms were hard to use. Wooden blinds let lots of light into the room and the breakfast was the worst we have had

After a warm welcome we got to the Vila with private pool. Awesome, out/ inside was exactly like the pictures and there was an open air rain shower. Around the pool there was a dining table, comfy couch and sun beds. The fan was welcome during the hot day's. Breakfast served at the vila is very good and very nice staff. Close to the beach boulevard and Icon Sanur, where you'll find bar's, restaurants and shops. We needed to leave at one point....

I stayed in villa 110. Really nice staff, pool, gardens, and breakfeast. Cant beat the location with easy beach access and lots of restaurants and shops. No hot water for bath or shower so couldnt really use the bath. Villa could do with maintenance with damaged fixtures and rain leaking through ceiling and exhaust fan.
