Hotel Solar Bela Vista

Overall, I had a positive experience at the hotel. I stayed there for five days, although technically only one day was reserved under my name, since the other days were booked under my friend’s reservation. For the price, the hotel offers very good value. The breakfast is quite acceptable, the hotel is clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. The location is also very convenient, as it is close to many important places and main attractions. The only downside is that the rooms could use some renovation and modernization. Even so, considering the price and location, I believe the overall experience was good.

Location, breakfast and overall attention by the hotel staff Lots of noise during the night, specially at the room I had (21), which mainly came from the AC unit when it was not in use, as well as the mini fridge. It was made worse by the fact that it was next to the stairs.

Staff was great and also the breakfast was amazing. Sheets were too short for the bad.

Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Quiet area, but a little noise from traffic. The bathroom was a little smelly due to a faulty floor drain. Temporarily fixed by covering the drain.

Exceptional

The hotel is in a safe area of Sao Paulo, the room was satisfying, having AC, a big-screen TV and a refrigerator, the bed was comfortable, and wi-fi signal was good, breakfast is decent. The place is extremely noisy, walls, doors, everything is very thin Even with windows closed noises made by vehicles on the street were heard as everything would have been opened. If somebody knocked on any of the doors on my floor it sounded like it would have knocked on my door, and everything could be heard from outside, every talk and noise. Fortunately I am a good sleeper, and didn't bothered me much, but if you have troubled sleeping you should be aware that this can be a great problem. The bathroom was stinking occasionally from the sewage system. There was no housekeeping for the whole period as I stayed there, even there was a mention about it on booking. Nobody came to ask me if I need fresh towels and anything. Staff doesn't speak english. Overall I would say it's more like a two-star establishment rather than three stars.

The place is pretty close to the best areas in São Paulo. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

I really enjoyed my stay. -The staff were very kind and supportive. -The room was comfy. -The breakfast was good. -Some rooms (double bed) have blacked out windows as well, be sure to request a room with normal windows.

The air conditioner was not properly working and even after leaving my key and doing everything recommended by them, I left without it being fixed.
