If you get the no cleaning option you do save some money but you save a lot less than they will charge you for cleaning - cleaning costs 1500 per day which is way more than the discount. That said, they were really helpful about giving me extra fresh towels as needed so I could keep things clean myself. Breakfast was also expensive - ¥3000 - so I didn't get it to find out if it was worth it. Looks good in the pics but there are so many food options nearby.

awesome hot springs, delicious breakfast and ramen
-
Location was great between Snow Fest & Ice Fest. Room was good size, snacks and hand warmers were excellent and onsen was great. Nice free bottled water each day. Room was nice and bright if you need to work. I wish there were shower caps and one extra towel for the room after using the onsen

Very convenience to everything Room was tiny
-
I like the location and breakfast. The onsen is small. I didn't wear the onsen clothes. Too big and ugly.

Great place, lovely staff, wonderful location

Excellent location! Near the station and shopping strip. Good onsen.

We stay at Dormy regularly. In general, they're consistent in terms of staff helpfulness and friendliness. They can speak good enough English to address your needs if you are English-speaking. The facilities and amenities like the shared bath, massage chairs and actual massage areas, the great Japanese food buffet, the free half ramen at night, and the complimentary treats like Yakult, popsicles, and ice creams, coffee and tea, etc. make this place super comfy. This particular location is in one of the most convenient-for-tourists places in town: Tanukikouji, which is itself a tourist area, but also borders Susukino and Odori park. The actual room itself is basic, but it's a nice room and it's comfy, relatively speaking given the norms of floor space in Japan. I really don't have anything to complain about to be honest. Stay here!

Breakfast was great The bed and pillow too hard. The layout of the bathroom, sink, shower was difficult to maneuver Needed more trash cans in room.
-
Sento Bath was good enough Location is good Pretty quiet rooms Aircon - filter dirty Carpet - stick dirty... too much spray cleaner Pillows - hard old Desparately needs a makeover... It has been the same for years and now is time for change.

The location is unbeatable. The Tanukikoji shopping street is right downstairs with shops and restaurants. Breakfast and hot bath are also very good and not crowded at all. The room size is not very spacious, but big enough for a family of three (compared to most Japanese hotels), and it's super clean. Highly recommend for short stays in Sapporo.

Access to public bath, location of the hotel Non-smoking room smelled like smoke. Rooms were expensive and very small.
-
Clean and comfortable. Quiet. Great location. Large room to open 3 large suitcases. (Deluxe twin). Staff at check in didn’t explain anything at all. But other staff in the morning were very helpful and kind.

Fantastic location in downtown Sapporo near shops, restaurants, and transport options. The room was clean and the onsen was a nice way to end the day

The location is so near many eateries and dessert places. The entrance is in the roofed walkway. About 10mins walk to Odori park Rooms are small

The onsen and breakfast were amazing. The smoke from the smoking room was ventilated into our room so our room smelt badly of smoke.
