Overall, I was pleased with my stay at this retro hotel. It's a bit of a time capsule! I expect that my room looks much the way it did in 1990, but it was comfortable enough, and I'd stay there again. It's close to some good cafes, restaurants, and bars. In terms of proximity to Susukino, the location is great because it's close to the action but not right in the middle of it. However, in terms of proximity to the station, it's a bit of a trek if you decide to walk with luggage. I walked to the hotel on arrival but opted for a taxi to the station when I left Sapporo.

Old facilities but all works well. The staff was polite, and the breakfast is good. Great for those who just need a place to sleep.
-
Nothing wrong with the place, but if you are coming around winter time, the snow will make traveling with luggage a bit tricky. The entrance to the hotel lobby was cleared, but walking a block away and the snow had piled up a bit more than I expected.

Great location. Close to shops and restaurants. Few blocks away from the station No complaints about the property

Location Services
-
Comfortable bed, clean room, good shower, convenient location. A little noise from corridor sometimes.
-
The two rooms that we reserved were right across from each other. This made it easy to contact each other before going to bed and when waking up in the morning. Thank you to the hotel for arranging this. It would be great if the hotel would list parking lots/garages that are close to the hotel. This would be a great addition to the hotel homepage.

All With this price for a single room in downtown Sapporo, it’s unbeatable

Exceptional

Good location, close to all the Snow Festival action, walkable to city centre, shops and restaurants. Beds were hard. And not enough hanging space.
-
Location & parking options close to hotel Beds mattress needs replacing as they are old & worm past there use by date
-
Good location, friendly staff. The beds were particularly uncomfortable, much like an old school metal spring bed, rather than a proper mattress. Single pillow was also poor. Rooms are small but manageable, bathroom is a plastic cubicle style unit. The cost was also quite high, we paid twice the rate here compared to Osaka and it was not nearly as good.

Location is really good, a short walk away from the hustle and bustle but still very quiet area. Room was a good size and had all the amenities you would need. Bed was really hard and the pillows weren’t supportive enough and I had a feather pierce the skin on my face. The walls were thin, I heard the people next to me at 1am every night chatting and watching TV

The location was good to get to the central areas, and also it was easy to find many restaurants and convenience stores. The facility looks older than I expected, but it was fine to stay overnight.

Hotel located from Odori Subway Station through the Raccoon Street shopping street. Restaurants and convenience stores are located along the way, Great location, just a 10-minute walk to downtown Susukino Compared to other hotels in the neighborhood, the hotel is inexpensive and has a full range of amenities, making it easy to use for business trips. Inexpensive, so it gets booked up quickly. There is a washing machine but no facility to dry clothes naturally, so it is better to bring a laundry rope when going with functional clothes.

Really clean and the room has a desk if you need to work or whatever. There is also a room with washing machines, soap dispenser and vending machines in the 3rd floor. Nice but old hotel. Everything is really well preserved but you can still tell that it's been quite some time since the last renovation as some basics like plug next to bed and an AC (you still got building wide heating and cooling) are not present. Also, I was 4 minutes late for check out because of the guy in front of me and the system still charged me for that, it would be cool if there was a grace period.

Clean rooms, area has cafes around, room space is decent, you can move freely. affordable stay, nice workers. centralized heater during winter season (December 2024). Room gets very very hot and you cannot adjust it to make it cooler since the heater is activated in the whole building. Location quite far from downtown sapporo/ susukino area. you have to walk 750-850m to get to the restaurants and train station. Bus stop is 550m away. So it was kind of tiring to spend a long day outside and still need to walk a distance

The location was only a few minutes walk from the entertainment district. And the surrounding area was pretty quiet. The room was spacious and had a good AC. The bathroom smelled of urine, and I had to pay 1000 yen for them to clean it. There were also permanent stains in the sink and counter. Besides that, everything else was worth it.
