The breakfast was nice, onsen was good, the staff was super helpful - we have good impressions about this place, it's great. The location is close enough to all the interesting spots, but you need a bit of walking, which is fine, as anything closer to the prime locations would cost a lot more. The room was spacious and everything felt really nice. Well, I got scammed prior to coming to this hotel, which is awkward. I received a message on whatsapp with all my booking details and urgent request to pay for it. Due to miscommunication with staff as english is not their main language, mistakes were made, and I ended up paying for my stay to scammers. Although this issue happened, you can still see that my rate of this hotel is solid 9, and I still think it's great, so I think it says a lot lol.

I really liked my stay here. The hotel's design is modern and the lobby is very welcoming and comfortable. The location is excellent, close to many restaurants and bars, yet the rooms are surprisingly quiet. The rooftop onsen is clean and features a nice open-air outdoor bath. It was the perfect place to unwind, and I finished my day there every night. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable and too hard for my taste. Also, it would be a great improvement if they provided hot water for tea or coffee in the lobby.

Located at the end of the Tanuki Koji arcade, it's a great location. There's laundry onsite, modern facilities. Cool style & decor. 7-11 2 metres from the door. HOT shower with great pressure. Staff were almost hostile in their interactions with guests. Anything and everything that could be charged for will be. Also, since the first time I stayed here like 4yrs ago, the rooms are kinda deteriorating. Wallpaper bubbling, carpet coming up, terrible toiletries supplied in the shower. I don't think what was in the Shampoo & Body Wash was what was listed on the bottle. And finally, and most annoying- The Wifi is TRASH. Like 3mbps, IF that. Awful. I ended up using my prepaid eSIM for internet. Sad state of affairs.

Public bath outdoor space and efficient rooms. Clean and fairly comfortable. Nice to open a window for fresh air at night. A couple of things. The breakfast buffet “last order” rules. 9am instead of 9:30 as it says the buffet is until 9:30. Staff were dismantling the buffet at 9:15am which was off putting. 9am is pretty early - and allowing for a two hour window is not very accommodating to travellers from different time zones. Why say it’s from 7 to 9:30 am when really it’s from 7 to 9am? Also sticking to the hard rules of check in being at 3pm instead of being accommodating a bit earlier felt unusual and unwelcoming right from the start. Maybe train your staff to say things differently than just repeating the same sentence like a robot. There was also a funky smell in the room.

The location by Tanuki Koji is awesome, 7-11 next door, rooms are nice layout, CONTROL OVER AC (often difficult to find in Japan), windows that open, shower is amazing, laundry available. 5th time here, starting to look a little ratty- carpet in room was peeling away at the middle, wallpaper in bathroom was coming off, general maintenance. Also, staff are incredibly hostile to their guests. Pretty much every request will be sourly performed with clear annoyance, and they just generally seem put out as a whole. I booked one additional night, and mistakenly chose a room type that was NICER than the one I had been in for 2 weeks, and had to argue with them to stay in the same room. They literally wanted me to pack up after a fortnight and move to a different room for one night, despite them admitting the hotel wasn’t full. Then the tried to say there would be a fee to do so. I argued about that, too, much to their irritation. I just literally didn’t experience ANY hospitality at all at this location. Going to try somewhere different next time.

The location is close to the shopping street and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The facility is exceptionally clean. It is also a plus that they also have an Onsen onsite. It was a little difficult to initially get to the location. However it was easy to get around after

Breakfast was good. A lot of variety. Location was excellent. Couldn't ask for a better spot to explore Tanukikoji and the Yuki Matsuri. Staff was helpful. Rooms were small for Americans, but seems standard for Japan.
