Hotel Sho Sapporo

Location is close to the train station but that is all The facilities were dirty the room was dirty as well there was stains on the blanket and they wouldn’t change collect the trash bin unless I paid a 2,000 yen cleaning fee the hotel did not look well kept at all

It's the worst hotel to stay in Japan. It's a shame to call it a hotel. It's a Motel. One of the worst hotels where I have stayed in my life. This hotel don't have any room cleaning service if you are staying for more than one day. They charge 2000 for room cleaning. There rooms are smoking rooms and you can select which one so they randomly select. The pictures of the room and real room is totally different. The hotel have renovation going on and in morning the people are bring stuff so noisy. I would never ever recommend this place for anyone. It should not be listed here even. The stuff is extremely bad ?

Location was perfect for my purposes but the appearance of the hotel and the lobby is third world. Reminds me of some of the backpacker places you find in mainland China, NOT Japan. General appearance and age of the hotel for the price ; Total mismatch

The air conditioner in my room didn't work well so it was really hot in the room. There's no spare room to change. At least they brought an electric fan, so it was bearable somehow.

Close to station. Very accessible Wifi doesnt work, flooring is carpeted but i feel like no one cleans or vacuums the floor. We were sneezing the whole time.

It was in the city centre. Near the hotel where the meeting point was for most tours. Not spotlessly clean. There were places that needed cleaning but it was manageable. Bed is not very comfortable but when you have been walking the whole day then you’d still fall asleep.

Good

A nice, pleasant stay in a room with a large bed. It had a bathtub and a minifridge. My room was on the top floor which had a wooden corridor, which was pretty cool. The room was not space-efficient. There was a desk but it wasn't really usable as a work-space (or just simply sitting and using a laptop) because there wasn't a space for a chair there due to the bed, and even if there had been space, you couldn't use the space under the desk because the minifridge was located there.

The bathroom was very clean and the bathtub was very nice. The hotel is at the perfect location, so close to everything in the city if you want to see the snow festival. The only little flaw was that the room smelled bad when we entered first. We opened the windows but the smell seemed to be in the walls or carpet or something. It was ignorable tho and there was no bad smell in the bed sheets and bathroom so the room seemed clean. Overall it was a very nice stay and there is a lot of good restaurants around the hotel.

The hotel is near to the train station which is a good value Its kinda an old hotel but its okay

No temperature control in the room, had to open the window while it's snowing outside to cool down the room because it was too hot inside.

You couldn't change the temperature of the room
