Location - close to Nakajima Park with walking access to metro station; reasonable proximity to Susukino; good view from room of park Exceptional breakfast buffet including sparkling wine. Friendly welcoming staff Compact bedroom and bathroom. ‘Tired’ furnishings (in need of refurbishment).

Location and convenience

The view was amazing and the breakfast was top tier! They had Hokkaido milk yogurt and local cover honey! And the staff were so awesome! Shout out to Mr. Shim! You're awesome dude! He wrote on a post card for my mom and even drew a samurai and Mt Fuji! Literally the ONLY thing was the central ac/heat. It was set to a certain degrees for the entire hotel and all rooms. But they offered a fan at the front desk and that helped us sleep so much better.

Very nice hotel with reasonable price. Hotel is nearby a beautiful park. Inside the park, there is concert hall, but there is not show during our stay. Also, there is an observation station which offers to view sun, moon and other stars for free. It is not closed to train station, need to take metro to get hotel from train station. a little bit far away from train station

The Japanese staff provided very good service overall. However, at check-in, we were assisted by a staff member who didn’t seem to be Japanese. They charged us 3,400 yen for parking and tax, even though the correct amount should have been only 2,400 yen. We paid it at the time, but later found out at check-out that it was a mistake. The hotel then refunded us 1,000 yen. What was very disappointing is that I booked two rooms, and one of them included breakfast. However, the same staff member insisted that there was no breakfast included, even though I showed the confirmation from Booking.com clearly stating “breakfast included.” They told me to contact Booking.com myself, which was quite unreasonable since I already had proof. After I contacted Booking.com, they coordinated with the hotel and confirmed that breakfast was indeed included. However, the hotel still refused to provide it. In the end, Booking.com had to compensate me for the breakfast instead. The hotel did not take responsibility at all. I’m very disappointed.

Room comfort, outstanding staff, breakfast quality.

Room of a very decent size with a nice view to the park, at a very very affordable price. It is a short 15 - 20 mins walk to the main shopping and food area. Need to pay additional for parking.

We loved everything about this hotel. Great facilities, well appointed room. Included breakfast the best we’ve ever had in Japan. Happy hour free drinks…wow! Easy under hotel parking (don’t be nervous to rent a car in winter). Friendly, efficient staff, smiling and helpful. Overall outstanding, will stay again. Thankyou you so much everyone.

I love the easy access to the parking. Smooth check in and check out. Our room has a great view. The lobby was beautiful to chill too. It was a bit small compared to the photos on bookings.com. The hotel is a bit outdated, nonetheless it's well maintained.

The room was a little more dated than expected and slightly musty. Rooms were a bit smaller than what the pictures made out too.

We stayed in a city view room, as park view rooms were priced differently. Although the room was small, it had a large window with a nice city view, which made the space feel brighter and more open. The room was clean, and the location next to Nakajima Park was very convenient. The room size was quite small, especially with luggage, and the building feels a bit dated. However, everything was clean and well maintained.

It’s located very close to convenient store and just a but away from accessing subway / city bus. Nothing, really, maybe just the wall was thin…

The room on 22 floor was big, spacious and with the nice view on the city. The hotel is nearby restaurants area and nice park. Unfortunately, this was one of the most uncomfortable hotel stays I have experienced. From the first day (31 December), the hotel restaurants were effectively inaccessible. We were repeatedly told we could eat there, then told we needed a reservation, and finally told it was not possible at all. This happened multiple times, both on arrival and during the following days (1–2 January). With temperatures between –8 and –13°C, and most restaurants in the city requiring reservations due to holidays, this left us with no real dining options. For three days, we ended up eating convenience-store food in our room. On departure day, after check-out, we waited in the lobby for our taxi to the airport (we had three connecting flights that day). I asked if I could take a snack or coffee from the bar and pay for it, but was told “no” because I was “no longer a guest.” When I asked about the hotel restaurants (24th/25th floor), staff appeared confused, consulted each other repeatedly, and ultimately refused access—first saying reservations were needed, then saying the restaurants were closed, despite it being daytime. Another disappointing detail: housekeeping never proactively replenished coffee. When I politely asked reception for two additional coffee pods, I was charged 200 yen—on 2 January, during a multi-night stay. In other hotels, this level of basic hospitality is standard. Overall, the issue was not rules, but lack of hospitality, clarity, and flexibility. Staff interactions consistently made us feel unwelcome rather than assisted. This is not what one expects from a hotel of this category. I would not stay here again.

The superior room for husband and I was comfortable but I do think, overall the hotel could do with a bit of an upgrade as it is showing its age a little. I booked a standard twin room for my daughters and it was tiny with no space to move around once their luggages were in. The airconditioning didnt work in their room and they had to rent a fan (and this is winter). In fact, we had to get them upgraded to the superior room eventually which meant them sleeping on a queen size bed (rather than twin) with a bit more space and a working airconditioning unit.

There is no coin laundry like most Japanese hotels, the carpet and bathroom is a bit old

Staffs were friendly, courteous and helpful. The breakfast buffet was fire, so many dessert and food choices to choose from, outstanding service! Our room view was magnificent. Near to the train station and restaurants. No!

Amazinggggggg Breakfast! Stunning views overlooking snow covered Nakajima park! Great location. Has a cool lounge area with a free drink bar! Rooms feel a bit outdated. The Air Conditioning is central and can’t be adjusted so sometimes can get uncomfortable. The rooms don’t come with a Air-Purifier or Humidifier, but you will be provided with a old-school machine when requested for one
