Richmond Hotel Sapporo Ekimae

I have been with Richmond Hotel for long time and everytime I travel to Hokkaido, I would stay a few days with them. Over the decade, I witnessed and experienced their continuous improvements no matter in terms of room facilities, staff service, and breakfast options. Cant fault on anything with them. Once again, they have exceeded my expectations and I will definitely return again if I travel to Sapporo again. Nothing

Close to JR station. Room is big enough to open large luggage on the floor. Streaming services on TV. Delicious breakfast with 6 options. Could exchange the unused breakfast coupons with others (e.g. cake, tickets to TV tower, shopping coupon at a souvenir shop in train station). Convenient hot/cold water stations on most floors.

The food was absolutely perfect and exceeded my expectations. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind, especially with arranging my luggage delivery. They even called the destination hotel to confirm details beyond what I originally requested and helped me complete all the shipping documents. Their service and attention to detail made me feel very impressed and well taken care of throughout my stay. Nothing at all. Everything was excellent

Accessible. Nice locatiom You have to specify u need cleaning everyday, otherwise you would just be handled with clean towels everyday. But the trash and soiled towels stays with you in the room till they clean the room.

At first, I was quite disappointed with the smell in the room, as it was a smoking room and I had some difficulty breathing. It was partly my oversight for not specifically requesting a non-smoking room during booking. I truly appreciate that the team promptly deodorized the room. After that, we were able to relax and sleep comfortably, which made a big difference in our stay. I was also pleased with the toiletries provided. The shampoo and conditioner left my hair feeling smooth and soft, and I especially liked the cleansing oil, moisturizer, and the other amenities. Sorry for taking 1 sachet of moisturizer after checkout, I really like it. Overall, thank you for the effort in addressing our concern and improving our experience. Exceptional stay! Everything exceeded our expectations — from the warm and welcoming staff to the spotless rooms and fantastic facilities. The location was perfect, making it easy to get around, and the amenities provided great comfort throughout our stay. We truly felt well taken care of from check-in to check-out. Near the train station, as well as the buss station. The staff was exceptional as they helped resolve inquiries above their responsibilities.

I liked various of supplements and friendly staffs. Only one thing I think could be improved is to add air hydration in the room because the air condition is so dry inside the room in the winter.

The location was the highlight. The room was clean, and the staff were very helpful. The room was on the smaller side, and unfortunately, an upgrade wasn’t available.
