Beautiful building, amazing location, convenient, stunning views, nice amenities, comfortable beds, nice bathroom, good black-out curtains (important with that many windows) and lots of space. Everything was great and I would stay here again in a heartbeat. No real negatives, but they do have a very strict check-in time. We were able to leave our bags, but it was pouring rain, so the lobby was packed with people waiting to check in since it wasn’t great weather to go do something else. I understand this is their policy but if there are rooms ready and the weather is poor, some flexibility could help the situation. It also meant the lines at check-in time were terrible.

The onsen is beautiful with amazing views of the city. The front desk folks aren’t very friendly.

We stayed at this hotel twice during our trip. The rooms were a decent size. For our second stay, the room had a smell but they moved us to another room immediately after someone checked our room for the smell. Bathroom was spacious and clean. They offered free samples of DHC face wash (oil and milk cleanser), toner, and moisturiser. These products were excellent quality and worked well for my skin so much so that I wanted to buy them. There is a communal rest area on the top floor which had comfortable bean bags and arm chairs for relaxing. There's also a gym which has a cable machine, dumb bells, back extension stand, mats, exercise ball, treadmill and bike which is enough for a solid workout. The onsen was quite crowded as the day visitors can pay for access. The products like shampoo, conditioner, face wash available in the onsen are all DHC so really good quality. Most of the showers are taken due to the number of people there but I always managed to find one that was free. The hairdryers for afterwards were often all in use so I ended up going back to my room to dry my hair. The hairdryer in the room was actually better as it's been used less often compared to those offered at the onsen. It was fairly far from Sapporo's city centre so we ended up walking quite a bit. It was also 10 minutes away from subways so you could likely find something closer. I had to pay an additional charge (although it was minimal) so that we could have access to the onsen. We also had to pay the tax when we arrived which I didn't expect.

I liked the lobby and the rooms were nice. Their needs to be more washer/dryers. Three is not enough for a hotel that size. My room carpet had a lot of stains. Very surprising for a new hotel.

about 10 mins walk to Sapporo Station. The fitness center was spacious and great equipments. I like the lounge, the room was spacious, BUT it’s near a train track so you could hear the train even at night but it’s not that bad. I didn’t use the public bath but still had to pay the fee.

Good breakfast, nice room, lovely hot spring & high ceiling lounge where you can chill out with your loved ones A bit far away from the JR station - walking distance is more than 15 mins

Location was great! Close to Sapporo station however in a nice quiet area. Clean room with amazing view. Beautiful lobby and 35th, 26th floors. Public spaces are open to non staying general public. Lends to the hotel being very crowded in the 25th floor lounge area, public onsen and lobby area. Staff are generally always busy and minimal interaction. Kiosks for self check in and check out. If you are looking for a welcoming hotel, this is not it. Guests or general public get the same treatment. Cordial, cold and indifferent. This is just a different experience than the other hotels that we stayed at on our trips. Too many other hotels in the area to want to return for a future stay.

I had a wonderful stay at Sapporo Hotel by Grandbell. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with an excellent bed that ensured a good night’s sleep. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The breakfast was outstanding, offering a wide variety of both Japanese and international dishes. There were plenty of choices, and everything was fresh and well-prepared. The onsen facilities were also excellent—clean, relaxing, and a perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring Sapporo. Nothing really

It’s new and clean. The view from the hotel lounge is fantastic. The staff were not very welcoming.

Second time to stay in Granbell. A 12-minute walk to JR station which has malls and restaurants. Our family loved the 25th floor lounge area with a panoramic view of Sapporo city. Onsen is a plus. Rooms are not that big but slightly bigger than usual hotels in Japan. Cleaning is every two days, but they refresh the towels every day. Bathroom doesn't have a table where you can put your toiletries. My father went to the restaurant early morning for breakfast but was told it was already full, even if it was still early and the place still had lots of available seats.

The location is excellent—close to the station, with many restaurants and shopping options nearby, including Sapporo Factory. I also really enjoyed the onsen, which was clean, relaxing, and a great way to unwind after a day of sightseeing. If I return to Sapporo in the future, I would definitely stay at this hotel again and will gladly recommend it to my friends.

We also had dinner at Luna upstairs. The food was excellent, and the staff were very attentive. The only drawback was that the portions were quite small—we would have preferred them to be a little larger. Other than that, we had a very enjoyable experience.
-
Convenient location , good onsen I wanted house keeping and they wanted to pay to get house keeping, if you’re a breakfast person you better wake up early anywhere after 7AM you can kiss good bye to BF too many people waiting online. If you are not a fan of children this place is not for you as there’s too many kids. The carpet in the room has a lot of stains. Too many hiden fees.
-
Great rooftop onSen The carpets in the roof where very stained. There is no closet space when you stay for a week you basically living out of your suitcase
-
