- Room and facilities were clean. - The pillows were extremely uncomfortable. - The lighting in the bathroom, vanity area was horrendous. - Price point seemed a little high.
-
The location The lobby was quite small and not inviting.

Everything was great. Two wonderful surprises: 1) The breakfast was described as "continental," but it was so much more than that. It included an extensive buffet plus a choice of one of three main dishes, and everything we tried was excellent. 2) The hotel has direct access to the train stations and malls from the basement level, which made getting around incredibly convenient. We stayed additional nights at this hotel as well, and the experience was just as great. We would definitely stay here again! Nothing

Location, divine breakfast. No sauna.

Amazing stay at The Gate Hotel. The room I stayed in was very spacious and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and the location was very convenient.

We stayed at the king corner suite and it was fantastic. The room was spacious with a spectacular view of Sapparo station south exit and the construction site. The construction ended up being a massive hit and entertainment for the 2.5 year old, and a good preaching opportunity for the six year old about why construction still happens at night and the sacrifices those men and women made to support their family. The onsen was a small but good. Wish it had a view tho. While there is laundry service, but the lack of a coin or self serve laundry machine was a miss. But understand it's probably because of the hotel class?

Everything was wonderful!! The location is exceptionally convenient.

Location The hotel is new and with it, employees who need direction by a manager who knows the hotel business. I asked to change rooms and was disappointed when they wouldn't comply --especially considering I paid for five days well in advance. The staff (Kato) seemed indifferent and unwilling to help.

Very conveniently located to Sapporo Station and the Hotel Staff were all very attentive, friendly and professional. There is a major redevelopment project underway that’s fronts the Sapporo Station side of the hotel.

Staff not very friendly (front desk)
-
Staff were very friendly and it was a comfortable room for 3 people.
-
The highlight of our Hokkaido trip! The room was huge and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. We loved the luxurious amenities and the warm hospitality from the staff. The location is unbeatable—there’s a direct elevator to the B1 underground path leading straight to Sapporo Station. The 10th-floor lobby is stunning and spacious. Highly recommended! Nothing

The overhead lights above the sink was too shiny. Hard to see your face when applying makeup

New, clean, pleasantly spacious rooms, location was wonderful and directly connected to the subway (take the lift directly to the lobby near exit 8), and staff were really polite and kind enough to arrange for our 2 rooms to be on the same floor. Lounge access and the onsen were great too. We only put up 1 night here but will consider staying here again in future. N/A
