Great location, functional design. Good breakfast. Rooms are quite small. Onsen facilities are nothing special. Rooms seem overpriced.

The property looks very nice and clean. Elevator takes a little time to come.

The staff was very friendly and helpful!!

We liked the location. It was close to the JR station and an airport limousine bus stop. The rooms were nice and everything was clean. The blackout shades in the room worked really well. The hotel provided clean towels, bottled water and trash bags every day even if you didn’t want your room cleaned. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The water at the public bath wasn’t as hot as we would have liked and the beds were a little too firm.

Location Since there were 3 of us to a room it was a bit cramped. The toilet and shower too were small
-
Location great but no shelter to train station Clean room and comfortable bed No shelter to the train station and lobby abit cramp
-
Great location, as it is close to the JR train station and is walkable even with luggage. The amenities are amazing, with an onsen and free snacks (good selection of snacks) and drinks (hot and cold) The rooms are a little tight, but that is expected of Japan in general.

Breakfast was just ok. Location was close to shopping and train station and subways . More options for breakfast .

As much as I want to gatekeep this property because I'm afraid their rates might shoot up lol, MGSW is the best value-for-money hotel for a small family like us. It's so ROOMY, like, you can probably open 4 big suitcases at the same time! Their free drinks and snacks in the afternoon are so generous and well thought out. The room and the entire property are always clean. Very scarce coin laundry; laundry hours are 15:00-21:00 only. One of their staff, whose name I forgot to recall during our check-in, is a bit annoyed with me simply because it's my first time using their machine. I initially lined up in one of their counters with a staff member, simply because I prefer human interaction and, for me, it's part of the overall experience. I am not expecting them to be cheerful and chatty, but simply professional.

Location was great. Bed is comfortable. Everything meets my expectation. If i have chance to go to Sapporo, i will stay here again.

Breakfast was more than adequate and service by all levels of staff very good. My wife left a bag in the ladies toilet at Chitose airport and did not realise its absence till after getting off the train at Sapporo, but through the diligence and persistence of a hotel receptionist, Ms Hirata, it was located and duly retrieved by us from the Chitose Police Station. Ms Hirata's help was invaluable and much appreciated. All went very well for us, and we enjoyed our stay culminating with a happy ending for us.

Conveniently located for the train and bus station. Nice clean room, excellent breakfast with a wide selection of Japanese and Western food, The complimentary coffee machine in the lounge was most welcome. The hotel was more expensive than similar ones we stayed at in other Japanese cities, however this wouldn't stop us from staing here in the future.

Conveniently located to food and shopping. Very clean and great customer service. Housekeeping was excellent. I wish there are bigger rooms.

Great location. Good sized rooms. Friendly staff

Quiet and spacious despite twin beds in our room. Loved the shower room. Shower water pressure and temperature was 10/10. Great breakfast room and tasty buffet breakfast. There were juices, salads and squash dishes, scrambled eggs, meats, Hokkaido dairy yogurt (! So good!) & cereals. The chef made perfect delicious little dishes of hot glazed pork belly with daikon and a single mushroom; so delicious. Nothing. Loved the access to the breakfast lounge for machine coffee & teas with some snacks in the afternoon after our exploration of this wonderful city!

The only thing we like about this hotel is the location which is close to the Sapporo train station. It is less than 10 minutes walk to the JR Sapporo Station and the MRT Sapporo station. Hence, it makes getting around easy. The triplet room we booked was converted from a twin room. Hence, the room was too small for three persons. We hardly had any space to open our luggage. While it was nice that they offered coffee and snack outside breakfast hours, the coffee was very bad (different from the coffee served during breakfast). The steam room was also very small. In additional, the changing room and bathing areas were also cold. I shivered after bathing and while changing. They should put a warmer, instead of air-con in there. There was only two washing machines, one inside each of the steam room. So either a male or female member need to access it to do the washing, making it inconvenient. The use of the washing machine was also more expensive another hotel we stayed.

Very near the train station and the rooms are not small.
