Da Luz Boutique Hotel

The highlight of the hotel and probably the entire trip for us was the complimentary breakfast. Maria, the mother of the family, used to run a restaurant and makes breakfast every morning from 8am-10am. I attached a few pictures from our stay. It was so delicious I ate so much i didn't have to eat again until dinner. The family is extremely friendly and provide great service. should we ever come back to Sarande there is no doubt we would return to this hotel. The only area that could be improved was some confusion over the beach chairs. When we checked in we were told any of the white umbrellas on the beach we could use (there's probably around 30 of them) but another employee later on in our stay said we could only use the back two rows of beach umbrellas (further from the water). Ultimately it was fine but it was a bit inconsistent & if we are staying in the hotel it seems odd to have to pay an additional cost for a better lounge chair.

The hotel staff and experience were felt truly excellent, well justifying the boutique experience. The service was exceptional, always with a smile, fast and highly accommodating. The hotel is practically on the beach, close to one of the main roads with several restaurants, and within walking distance from the port, marina, and the center. Initially we had a small room with no sea view, and had problems with both AC and TV. Hotel staff switched us to a much better room, with directly sea view - highly recommended! Hotel access is somewhat challenging, being in a small street with a very steep access to the main street.

Nice location, about a 10 minute walk to promenade and ferries. On the beach. They helped with parking. Friendly and helpful staff.

The beach/water itself was okay, but there are better beaches in other areas.

Fantastic family ran hotel which provided a lovely personal touch. The facilties in the room were to a good standard. The staff were very attentive and the mother of the hotel gave such warm and caring hospitality. I received a thoughtfully made vegan breakfast, delicious with a home made muffin to top it off. Excelent. Nice view taking breakfast and great location They didn’t use my cc that I filled on bookings and I have to pay at the area but all good. I just afraid to be charged twice but all good.

What I liked? Location, staff, and breakfast. The sound of the waves and the spectacular sea view — day and night. Spacious rooms, very clean, organized, and well kept. Friendly, polite service with great attention to detail. On my visit I can only have possitive memories . : )

The location was a short 10 minute walk from tbe Promenade. It is off a quiet street away from the noise of the city. I loved the breakfast and views. Staff were so kind and clearly care about the experience of their guests. I didn't have a problem because I read some helpful reviews, but the property can be difficult to see from the street. As others have said, turn at the Sunset Hotel Sign.

The hotel is in a very nice spot in Sarande. The room was quite large and the sunbeds on the beach are included with your hotel. The service by the staff was excellent and communication at every level was great. The balcony from our room overlooked the sea and was lovely and very private. The breakfast itself and the staff serving us were great! The hotel is difficult to find, especially in the dark, and better directions could have been provided. Some better signage would also definitely help. The pictures are a bit misleading as the hotel is right next to other locations and the beach is small and boxed in by jetties on either side. That is the reason for the Very Good rating as opposed to Wonderful. Otherwise, we had a great stay!

The hosts went above and beyond to ensure that everyone had an amazing vacation and leaves happy. I will make sure to stay at the same place when i visit again.

The location was wonderful and the breakfast was incredibly delicious. Only thing I did not like was the fact that I had to leave.

The hotel was cozy and quaint. The cafe was beautiful with direct access to the beach. The surrounding buildings to get to the hotel was a bit tricky. The hotel is a little hidden and you have to pay close attention to the signs.
