Location was great. Near the beaches we liked to visit.

It was an excellent price. The location was pretty good too (Road construction right in front was not ideal, but not the hotels fault). about 10-15 minutes from everything (Barnum museam, St. Armonds Circle, etc). The staff (maybe owners?) were very cordial. My biggest issue was the AC not being on when we arrived and took hours for the room to cool down a little. After hours of travel and the temp being in the 90s, not having a cool room when you walk in sets the negative tone. With a reservation, they should have had the rooms cooled before checking in. It wasn't an issue for me, but the TV was not working and although I could have called the office and they would have fixed it, I didn't because I didn't care. It would have also been nice to have more than one towel per person.

Clean rooms with convenient parking spots. Equipped so TVs can hook up to devices like computers for watching movies or game systems via htmi cords.

Excellent value and close to dt Sarasota. Bed was a little soft, perhaps refresh with new mattresses.

The room was spacious and clean. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. It is a great option to stay few days in Sarasota.

The swimming pool has been filled with concrete, making it very difficult to get a dip at the end of a long trip.

Our room was very clean. And it was comfortable. There were no clothes changers. We could not get the tv to work. We did not know where to get ice.

The room was clean and I had no issues. Fairly nondescript but it was in a good location. Seem very safe in the area and was close to a lot of different things

Only thing is the a/c wasn't the best but kept the room comfortable. I also like it cooler so might be different for others. Shops and stores near by.

I had a very frustrating stay at Flamingo Inn in Sarasota. At check-in, I told the front desk that I had a service dog, and they said it was fine. When I entered the room, it was extremely hot and the A/C was not working. I had to go back to the office, and the manager came to the room and got the A/C running. After I brought all my belongings inside and began cleaning the room with sanitize wipes because it looks so dirty and outdated, then I discovered there was no water. I had to return to the office again and requested another room. by that point, the front desk staff appeared irritated, and there was no apology for the inconvenience. I had to move all my belongings back out to the vehicle and into a second room. The next morning, a housekeeper approached me very aggressively while I was taking my leashed service dog outside with waste bags. She yelled that dogs were not allowed to go potty on the property, and that I should take my service dog to the dog park or the street to go potty, even though no one told me that at check-in. The interaction was rude and upsetting. Before leaving, I cleaned the room thoroughly and took out all of the trash and even asked the manager to inspect the room so there would be no misunderstandings. I also told him how upset I was by the housekeeper's behavior. But he just made excuses. The second room was better, but the poor service and the way I was treated over my service dog left a very bad impression. I would not stay there again.
