Clean rooms, friendly staff, easy check in

The room was clean. It had a slight patina of age, but it looked recently updated. The pool was really nice and the Tiki bar was fun and had excellent drinks and friendly bartenders.

We were given an upgraded room that included a complimentary drink, but we only received the drink once, and the overall condition of the hotel did not match what was advertised. The property was not very clean, and the room looked completely different from the pictures online. The sheets on the bed were also stained, which was very concerning. The pool was probably the cleanest part of the property, but unfortunately, it closed at 8:00 PM, which felt very early, especially since there weren't many other amenities available. Overall, the experience did not meet our expectations at all. The pictures online made the hotel look much nicer and cleaner than it actually was. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and makes improvements, because cleanliness and proper room service should be basic expectations for any hotel stay.

Everything else about my stay at the hotel was completely OK. The room and service were fine, but I am very unhappy with their unfair billing policy.At check-in, the front desk told me they were going to fully charge my card $150 instead of doing a standard temporary hold. Taking the money completely out of my account instead of just putting a pending hold on it is a terrible system. It ties up funds unnecessarily.While the rest of the stay was fine, this financial policy is very inconvenient. The hotel needs to use normal authorization holds like almost every other hotel does. Rooms are good size. Love the retro refrigerator & Microwave plus an extra sink bar area. Beautiful grounds around the pool even a the oldest tiki bar next door . Plus wine & beer window at the resorts. Lots of table & chairs. The shower good be improved but floors are updated. Comfortable beds & pillows. Lots of good restaurants nearby. Great location to everything.

We've stayed there 3 times in the last month. Just a fun lil getaway and you can't beat the price. Tiki bar is awesome. Was there for a karaoke night and drag bingo. So much fun!! Great happy hour cocktails and prices. Balcony, no balcony. Every room we got we weren't disappointed. Probably go back in a week or two again.

Helpful staff. I had an extremely late check in due to flight delays, and the staff took care of me with no issues.

The location of our room was perfect. Be clean and decor was perfect. I loved the colors of the fridge and microwave. The pool area was very nice and at night was beautiful. The room 204 on the back side of the room it says 206 and the 206 has 204 on the back side as well. But this will be our forever stay whenever we are in Sarasota.

Good place to stay for the value. Would stay again. A/C seriously could for Florida summer heat.

Everything you need. Some noise from the road. Ask for a pool view room.

Our room was OK for the price. Some of the lights weren't working. We didn't stay in the room except to sleep & shower. The bed was comfortable & we slept well. I swear the rooms must be sound proof. I know there was a family below us with noisy kids & I never heard them except when I was outside. What really makes this lodging worthwhile to me was the awesome pool area & the Tiki Hut bar! The pool area rivals that of exclusive hotels & the bar had ambiance & great drinks! I'd definitely stay here again.

I didnt know what to expect when I chose this place bc the price was great and Ive been fooled by online pictures before. And when I pulled up I was a little nervous. But my fears were immediately sudsided when I walked in and the first thing I noticed was how it looked recently updated and clean and then was greeted by a helpful informative and friendly desk attendant that worked w a sense of urgency. I found my parking spot quick and then my room and walked in and was flooded with a sense of relief when i realized the pictures matched the room. It too looked recently updated and clean. Also the rooms were quiet the hotel was full and I didnt hear anyone else. They also hooked me up w a free drink ticket so I walked over and checked out the Tiki Hut Bar. Once again I was greeted by friendly attentive and entertaining bartenders. They also have a pool and hot tub. And a working ice machine. Deff great value here for the price. Great job yall
