Didn't like having to pay for parking, but it was better than the alternative.

I booked my stay knowing the hotel will be old due to its location (downtown). Room was not properly maintained, mold on lamps, toilet seat broken, shower accessory open, you can hear noise fron other rooms. I asked front desk to take care of it, they answered this is not a 5 start hotel, we won’t remodel. Definitely not a good customer service, I don’t recommend.

Just the location. The staff was horrible. Brittany who was the front desk person was outside having a cigarette and made us wait until she was done smoking until she came in to help us. Very unfriendly and smelled of smoke. Our room smelled and no towels in our. Called the front desk and no answer so I had to go back down to the front desk and guess what Brittany was outside again smoking. The next day after we were out all day came back to our room and they never had come in and made the bed or took the trash out or gave us clean towels. Called the front desk and guess what no one answered so I had to go back to the front desk and Brittany wasn't there again because she was outside smoking again. I told Brittany that they house keeping never came to our room and I was told the staff was gone for the day and they must have forgotten to do our room. That is unacceptable. I had to ask for clean town, and I asked about what to do with the trash and Brittany said, just put it outside our door for the night, are they crazy. The worst hotel ever

The location and staff were outstanding! Beds were comfortable. Shout out to the ladies making the breakfast. That breakfast casserole was a 15 out of 10! I know it is the South and super humid, but there was some mold on the ceiling in the room and bathroom. Probably needs better ventilation. Everything else was very clean!

Our initial room was damp and humid. There was black/green mold on the bathroom walls and the outer room walls as well. The staff was very helpful and gave us another cleaner room.

We booked two rooms. Room 1. Had major issues the bathroom wall had horrible mold from an obvious pipe leak. As well as the wall beside the bed was disgusting! The entire wall had back stuff all over it. Room 2. Has a small dried up plant growing out of the bathroom wall and chewing tobacco spit (presumably) on the bathroom wall behind the trash can. We got a refund and left!

Fríendly workers , pretty good...

The property could use some updating and the elevator smelled bad, but the staff was very helpful.
-
The room itself was clean however the outside corridors are not. The pool is like a hot tub & the exercise room was not clean & the ceiling was falling down. It didn’t have free weights either or an exercise mat. The staff were stingy with the towels & even though I asked for dry ones I was told there were none & the cleaning lady wasn’t in yet. They took my room number down & never delivered them while we were out. The WiFi in the room also didn’t work. The breakfast was good though!

Love the proximity to River Street and historic Savannah

My stay was one of the best that I've ever experienced. The staff was wonderful. So friendly and helpful, from making sure that we had everything that we needed to recommending the best local restaurants and things to do during our stay. I felt I had made a few friends before our departure. Bridget (front desk) Elizabeth (ops mgr) and Veronica (housekeeping) were amazing. The breakfast was delicious every morning. The room was clean and cozy, and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel location was very convenient. We were able to walk to most things that we wanted to do during our stay, and the heated pool felt great after a day of sightseeing. I will stay here again if ever I find myself back in Savannah. Thank you, Best Western Historic district, for making our stay memorable and fabulous. N/A ... it was a great stay!

Nice, clean, and conveniently located close to River Street, shopping, and great food. The front desk staff was wonderfully friendly throughout our stay. A special shout-out to the lady who checked us in she went above and beyond! Even after her shift ended last night, she saw us in the parking lot, made a point to acknowledge us, and wished us a goodnight. That level of genuine hospitality is hard to find. Highly recommended!

The breakfast was great! The location was good. The room had a weed smell. The shower pressure was awful.
-
Location, rate and AWESOME front desk staff! Thank you so much Room housekeeping could use some attention—empty toiletry bottles, empty tissues and overall cleanliness. Gym horrible, not to mention hotel staff using already extremely limited equipment while on work shift.
-
The breakfast and the location were top notch! It was such a pleasant surprise to exit around the rear of the hotel and all the sudden we were in the thick of the most awesome and action packed street in Savannah. We enjoyed that so many amazing restaurants and stores were within walking distance. The hotel breakfast was delicious! They served us an entire spread every morning. The room was standard but we didnt come to hang in the room so it was perfect for us.
-
The room was outdated, the bathroom door had no lock, and the door handle fell off twice.Noise was a major issue. The downstairs area was very loud, and our room shared a connecting door with neighbors. We could clearly hear their kids shouting and talking until late at night. The hallway also constantly smelled marijuana. Additionally, the front desk was unhelpful. They charged $38/day for parking and claimed they didn't know about other options. In reality, there is a $5/day weekend lot just a 3-minute walk away. Won’t stay here again.
