Hilton Garden Inn Savannah Historic District

Room was fantastic, clean, roomy and had everything you’d need! Location was the best part, right in the middle of everything and we could walk everywhere!

The parking attendant said I had the option of self parking somewhere else. But there was only one small parking lot next to the hotel where the spaces were very tight and it was also a paid lot. I didn’t appreciate not knowing this information upfront. If I had known, I was going to pay an extra $50 to Park. I probably would have factored that into my decision to book this hotel. On the upside, my son and I were able to walk to most things which did save us on having to pay for an Uber and the front desk. Clerk was willing to let me have a late checkout so that my son and I could walk to go have breakfast and visit a card shop the morning we were checking out without having to have the attendant get my car before I was ready.

The people in the front were really nice and helpful.

The rooms were nice and comfortable. The Staff was friendly. The location was good for seeing a lot of things. Parking was a lot of money, and was valet parking, so the tips added up. That was a $200 additional fee overall. It's kind of sad that one has to pay for parking when you choose a downtown hotel.

The location was perfect. Staff was very attentive and accommodating

Parking is a bit pricey, but the valets were quick to respond when you called for a car. Hot tub was out of service for our entire week there. A couple of very minor maintenance items popped up, but nothing that really affected our stay. Overall, I would not hesitate to book another stay here.

Close walking distance to shopping and restaurants

Even though they cleaned the rooms every other day, they consistently did not leave us enough towels. There were two people in the room and we had to ask for extra towels every time.
