Spark by Hilton Savannah Midtown

Overall decent for the price point. Housekeeping doesn’t do daily cleaning and only took trash and brought fresh towels once for a four night stay. The rest of the time I took out my own trash and had to ask for towels. The beds were never made. The air conditioning was very loud. Luckily I could sleep through it so I didn’t complain. Breakfast was as expected. It was continental. The staff was pleasant when interacting with me. The pool could use a chlorine shock it was a bit green. It was skimmed out regularly. Overall not bad.

Indoor AC is a bit loud and you may want to pack some earplugs.

We stayed for one night, so no issue but was disappointed with location of the pool. I wanted to go for a swim at night but where it was located, I decided not too.

I felt catfished for real. Definitely didn’t feel like a Hilton property. Was nice we got a comped late check out for no cost but that’s the highlight.

But I am not a fan of Hilton's no change or refund policy, even if you try to make a change weeks in advance! In a great area with great parking and shopping.

Morning staff was very helpful. Wish there was more variety at breakfast but overall the stay was alright for the cost.

Everything Nothing

The staff was friendly and the room was clean. This location was 20 minute drive to historic district. It is located on a busy road but is fairly well insulated that the traffic did not bother us. Breakfast is basic cereal, coffee, and bagels.

The location Concierge made me wait to check in bc he was on his phone playing a game

Breakfast was a 2 out of ten . Didn’t have much to offer The hotel looks nice on the inside but location looks poor.

Extremely rude staff at the front desk. We had reserved 3 rooms and requested one to be handicap accessible. We reserved these rooms 4 MONTHS in advance and called 3 days in advance to make sure the accessible room was available. We were told yes yet when we got there it wasn’t and was basically told I was lying!!! Then people in the room across from us were smoking pot. Our minor children were being exposed to second hand smoke from ILLEGAL DRUGS. Management’s solution was to spray air freshener!!! Keep in mind this is a no smoking hotel. I would not recommend this hotel unless you are a drug addict. Carpets were filthy too. Breakfast was adequate and the beds were very comfortable.

When we arrived, the bathroom still has a hang towel on it (called front desk to make sure nobody’s occupying it). And I ask if they can send towels, we’re ask to come down to get it. It should be them delivering it upstairs to our room right? And the tub drain, is not draining well. It took time. The following morning, there’s still water on the tub ; it’s disgusting. We didn’t have time to complain coz we’re all tired.

Free parking on site. Free breakfast. Excellent price. Clean and comfortable.
