ibis Styles Amsterdam Airport

The hotel is conveniently located close to the airport, and the complimentary airport shuttle service was very useful. The rooms were clean and well soundproofed, ensuring a good night's sleep. We also appreciated the smooth and hassle-free check-in process, even though we arrived at 3:00 a.m. We have stayed in many Ibis hotels in different countries, and this was the first time we found no complimentary bottle of water in the room. Moreover, the price of a 0.5L bottle of water from the vending machine was higher than the price of a bottle of water at the airport after passing through security, which felt excessive. The pillows were exceptionally firm and not very comfortable. We were also disappointed that there was no way to control the room temperature, which made it difficult to adjust the climate to our preference.

Room is spacious When I checked in, There was a strange smell in the room, and when I entered the bathroom, I understood why: the toilet was absolutely disgusting, someone had vomited in it. I honestly wish I could unsee it. The hotel did move me to another room, which I appreciated, but there was no explanation. Another issue is the noise: from around 4 a.m., I had to sleep through the constant sound of suitcases being dragged around, which made it very difficult to rest. Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience and not what I expected from a hotel.

The simplicity of having things as expected. Shuttle service is great. Eating in options and bar useful for a drop in. It’s not for a long stay.

Comfortable stay. Breakfast buffet is good. Even though it’s really close to the airport and there is an access road to the airport in front, there was no noise. Dinner card is good. Had mould growing on the top two rows of tiles in the shower cabinet. I asked if it could be cleaned but was not done. I guess the cleaners are short people….

It's close to the airport and they provide a free shuttle to it. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms could use a bit of a renovation. But for the price it was good

We chose this hotel for an overnighter because we had an early flight the next morning to Schiphol. It served that purpose just fine. The bus from the hotel (free of charge) takes about 10-15 minutes to get to the airport. It is the last of three Ibis hotels, so you will have to wait a bit longer at the other hotels before you get to the airport.

Great hotel, rooms really big plenty of room for suitcases. Quiet. Breakfast is basic but good, you get some hot items alongside fruit, yogurt, breads etc. Nice bar area where they also serve meals. The hotel shuttle from the airport is good, it stops at 2 other Ibis around the airport but it's not too long, runs every 20-30 mins depending on the time of day. Staff were nice too. No hangers in the room, we did ask reception for some but they never arrived. This is only a small issue though. Nothing else as the hotel is great
