It was okay. The hot water is not all that hot, but big clean rooms
-
Breakfast was okay, no meat, little doughnuts didn't look fresh but otherwise okay

The hotel is old, run-down, and the owners clearly spend as little money as possible on it. You can feel this neglect everywhere. When I opened the fridge, water spilled out onto the floor. When I tried to close the inside door, the handle completely fell off in my hand. Also, even though the carpet looked newer, it was a dark gray color that made the room feel very sad and gloomy. The breakfast, which other people rated highly, was terrible. The eggs were made from cheap powder, the biscuits were the lowest quality you can find, and the gravy looked so bad it made me sick just to look at it. Even the bananas were totally black and old. To be fair, I will say that the staff did a good job cleaning, and they gave us fresh towels for the second night without us asking. The room was also large. However, those few good things do not make up for the rest of the experience. I will never stay at this place again. It is not worth the price or the high rating. Avoid this hotel and book one of the cheaper hotels nearby—they cannot be any worse than this one. I am going to complain to corporate Best Western customer service about this hotel. It is probably a private franchise, but it makes the brand look very bad. Avoid this hotel!

Room smelled of old carpet. The faucet ran all night. My husband didn't want to stay, but it was too late to find something else.

The hotel had a musty smell. One of the beds was tilting so like sleeping on a hill. Pool was dirty - my daughter cleared out some debris and frogs before using it.
-
Near our crabbing area and close to our restaurant of choice! The bed was like cardboard! The breakfast was inadequate. Eggs, gravy and biscuits for our main portion. Sausage and or bacon would have been perfect.
-
The breakfast was pretty good. Waffles were great, but eggs were a bit dry.

Very good

Nice lobby, breakfast area and pool. Beds sooooo comfortable. Just needs some updating to outside of building

There was a big mixup when I called to confirm my reservation and spoke with a man. I was told I didn't have a reservation so I registered again since there were 2 days until check in. I was charged anyway for the "non existent" reservation. The female desk clerk was professional but I wasn't happy with the extra charge. Otherwise the accommodations were great.

There is a damp smell in the room and in the corridor. The bed is not comfortable. The towels are old and very stiff, some of them have holes. All the furniture in the room is quite worn out. Breakfasts weren't great either (the orange juice had a very strange taste, like it was spoiled, so everyone who tried it threw it away)

The bed was also awful, felt no better than an old sofa bed. The springs were very hard and uncomfortable, and the platform was a metal platform with no support. When you sat on the bed, you sank all the way down to that platform as well. With the number of decent hotels within just a few blocks, there are plenty of better options.

ok some food could have been hotter borderline warm
-
The location The breakfast was old food. Everything was stale and the eggs were rubbery. It was very disappointing. Great deal on room but we stay for the breakfast to save more money. That didn't happen so I will pay a little more and still save money elsewhere.
-
The staff was very nice and friendly The hotel room was hot and stuffy most times. The mattress was loud and I could feel the metal springs so i didn't sleep well. The shower had rust spots that kinda creeped me out. And the shower felt nice ( pressure wise) but the water is soooo hard. After my shower my body was void of any moisture I had in it.

Clean, sizable rooms. Smelled clean and fresh which makes it better than other hotels in the area at the same price.
