Coast River Inn by OYO Seaside

Requested and got an accessible room with easy entry and accessible bathroom. Staff friendly and very accommodating about late arrival. Though a fairly basic motel setup, it is clean and nicely decorated with bright colors and an exterior mural that give it some character.

The room was very hot, 87 degrees and the heater was turned off. The weather outside was 73 degrees. The property had cobwebs over the light fixtures on the outside. The noise after 10pm went on well past 2am. I heard people stomping up and down the hallways, the stairs and doors slamming. My interactions with the staff was very minimal. I paid $419 for one night and I will not be staying at the property again. Not worth the money. No pool, no hot tub, and no breakfast (not even coffee).

Great stay

Even though it is pet friendly, there was no place for a pet to relieve themselves except for a small patch of rocks. Parking was marginal! OK for a small vehicle only! Assuming the area is not great! Very noisy thru the night!!

Clean hotel with stove, fridge, dishes, utensils. beds clean. I have a personal preference against stand up showers because they make messy bathrooms which is the only drawback. There are good stores nearby to get beach supplies.

A centrally located and comfortable hotel with friendly staff and free parking. We really enjoyed the free bike rentals, complimentary salt water taffy, and coffee in the lobby.

Property is run down- safety was a concern

The vending machines were not working at our building.

Very cute little beach town inn. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Front office staff were very nice, and they have some really good saltwater taffy. Great location. We will definitely return to this property next time we're in the area. Thanks for a great stay!

Overall great room and size . Only Downiside is no A/C.

The pet fee is too high compared to surrounding hotels, especially for the condition of property and minimal amenities

Looked like it was a pay by the hour motel back in the day. No amenities at all.

Roomy

Room was well set up with fridge, microwave and bathroom amenities. The shower door was off the track and a hazard, but we worked around it and the tv unit had doors that were missing or off the hinge. We didn’t need to use any of the cupboards so it didn’t impact us but in terms of maintenance this was not done. If this was fixed I would say it’s definitely a 3 star. Staff didn’t really engage in talk too much.

The room was nice and clean, property maintained well although everything is a bit older. Lighting was dim. Staff didn’t seem very happy, they weren’t rude just in autopilot maybe. My biggest complaint is that we were not aware of the $35 a night pet fee per pet and nobody likes hidden fees!

Clean, easy to get to.

Mostly an ok place to stay. Check in was rough as the lady working was pretty much rude the whole time and definitely had no interest in helping me. Plenty of parking so thats good. Bathroom was not very clean so I cleaned it myself and floor in bathroom literally made the cleaning wipes black so has not been properly cleaned in a long time. Beds are hard so if you like that you will sleep fine for me we checked out a day early due to the fact sleep was impossible and rather not sleep there another night. Other staff was quite nice and location is great. Overall I do not like giving low ratings so 4 stars will do as the stay was ok and I liked how easy a walk it was to downtown. I wish I only booked 2 nights since I waisted the money on the third but it is what it is.

Loved the tub and the atmosphere

Nice having the kitchen to store food/drinks. The rooms were so so. No AC but thankfully they had a fan but also we arrived during colder days so it wasn’t needed.
