Ok but seriously..one block away from the beach for this price?! Freaking amazing. I loved the feel of this place..very cozy. Staff was very helpful and the breakfast was soooo yummy!!

Beautiful historical building and amazing garden areas. The nice breakfast was an unexpected plus in the quaint downstairs rooms. Our room and bath were recently remodeled and nice. We especially loved that we could bring our little dog to be with us.

Breakfast was ok. the room it was a little small but comfortable. The hotel is in a good place. Closed to the beach.

The gardens and the location Breakfast was terrible for this style lodging. Room was warm despite having a fan and open window.

Pet friendly great stay. Just a block to the prom and a beautiful property. Our room was very small so we appreciated the cozy chairs in the common area…used them quite a bit. Good assortment at breakfast. Definitely recommend.

Clean, comfortable and convenient location for the heart of Seaside It was loud at night until about midnight…not unexpected for peak tourist family season at the beach

House is old and lovely. Rooms need upgrades: floors aren’t in plum, decorations are dated, windows need CLEANING! Breakfast was mediocre.

The location only The room size was ridiculous! The room was so small that the bed was setup in an angle, because otherwise you couldn’t get into the room! The bathroom was tiny and there zero space on the tiny sink that we couldn’t put our toiletries on it. We will never go back there!

The inn was in a great location and close to pretty much everything in Seaside. A short drive to cannon beach as well. It is an old historical building turned into lodging and just be aware, it is VERY bare bones. Not necessarily bad, just nothing fancy. Continental breakfast is minimal - scrambled eggs, some sausage, boxed cereal and yogurt. Not a bad stay just not necessarily worth the price in my opinion.

The view of the ocean is mostly blocked by a huge resort next door. Still a nice place to stay.

Good location Outrageous price for a battered old inn with little charm and lots of amateur repair work. DIsinterested staff and very poor breakfast.

Our room itself was clean and it was very convenient for walking to different places. A parking spot also came with the location. I am a light sleeper and find it difficult to fall asleep if there is noise. The walls are very thin and the doors in the shared hallways were constantly being slammed. We had a main level room and you can hear every little noise from the neighbors above. The only time I saw a worker was at check in. The place didn't seem to be monitored regularly by staff. Also when we arrived, the only window was closed and the fan that is provided read that it was 86 degrees in the room. It took more than 8 hours to get the room to cool down even with us placing the fan in the window. Not sure why windows would be closed knowing a guest is checking in. We were unable to spend any immediate time in the room as it was an oven. The price is also very overpriced for what is received. Will not be staying again. Highly recommend staying in Astoria vs the Seaside area.

Location, cleanliness, history and (again) location. Heard every footstep in the hallway.

    The Inn

  • Engine customer Jul 2026

The floorboards creaked, we could hear guests walking above us sometimes, and the TV was difficult to use.

fantastic location to beach and promenade. Easy to park. Friendly staff. the weak point of the stay is the breakfast. Very basic like you would get in any chain hotel and minimal staff on hand if you need assistance with something.

  • Engine customer Jul 2026

Quaint, charming, and meets all the needs. Conveniently located close to the beach and down town. Would absolutely stay again.

The room was fine but small. I would probably opt for a bigger room in the future. Parking was nice and close. The beach where the event we were attending was close. The breakfast was fine, better than some places. I love the sitting area in the library, it was lovely to sit and read a book there in the evening. The mattress was quite soft, seemed worn out. The blankets also seemed rather old and tired.

We didn't want a big hotel. This place is historic, adorable and a good location. The turret room is wonderful. If you like history, antiques, and 134 year old houses well kept up, you will love this with a fireplace you can sit in front of, you will love this hotel. Nothing was a problem.

Walking distance to the beach and many other places. Very quite and lovely
