It’s such a good location near the stadium though but if we knew about the strike we would not have booked it. Front desk staff is amazing and worked really hard to help everyone

Nice rooms! Can’t beat the location to Lumen field!

We stayed for a week to watch Word Cup. Location for Lumen Stadium is the best you can have, the hotel is right next to it. Our first shock happened the first thing in the morning. We were woken up by the hotel staff that is on strike right now. They are apparently going through negotiations with the hotel regarding their new contract. Hotel is refusing to pay them more or give them enough hours so they can afford living in a very expensive city. When making reservations I had no idea that strike was going on. We didn’t sign up for listening striking workers the whole week of our stay although I sympathize with them. I would have switched the hotels if that would have been possible without loosing my money. Regardless I probably wouldn’t be able to afford current rates for the night. During the week we stayed the hotel was charging $1400 a night for a room and they can’t pay their workers a living wage. Service was slow and cleanness was not that great to justify the price we paid. The staff was working double shifts to keep up with guests and they did the best they could for being understaffed. The property is nice no question about it but if you don’t keep it clean it won’t look the best and it didn’t. The staff that was working was very nice and we appreciated their effort. Unfortunately, we felt that we didn’t receive services other customers did prior to the strike. Would I stay there under different circumstances I probably would.

There was a protest in the front of the hotel and noise level was very high. Could not sleep, rest and work because of noise.

Room was better than I thought. Really loved it but pricey jaja

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

This is the darkest room I have ever been in, the closet area has better illumination than the room itself. I even needed to use my cellphone light a coue of times during the day. The highlight of the room is the bathroom, although the door is a bit heavy when opening from the inside. It is a great place to stay if going to an event nearby, especially if going to the stadium nearby, otherwise, expect an acceptable stay with nothing noteworthy.

Currently a strike from some employees will wake you up at 6a or so but the staff who are working are doing their best to cater to you and be helpful during the World Cup and I’d stay here again 1 min to be within vicinity of the stadium!

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

Well we went for the World Cup and they didn’t inform us about the fact that all of the roads would be closed off to get to the hotel so we had to park at a parking garage to be able to check in and they also had some sort of strikers right outside the building at 6 am till we checked out which made it hard to sleep

    We just enjoyed the stay.

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

The only thing is that a workers strike was going on and it was loud.

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

The all-inclusive breakfast is very limited and there should be different options for people who don’t eat pork as far as meat goes and repeats itself every day, and the noise pollution from the striking employees was somewhat unbearable. I wish we were warned about that before coming, not at the desk however otherwise everything was fine. Staff did the best they could. They were very friendly location is excellent.

This was a great location for us as we were in town for the Bosnia vs Qatar World Cup match. We were able to check in as soon as we arrived, at 11am. The whole place was pretty clean, including the room we stayed in. The breakfast was great. Only feedback for breakfast would be to add some turkey or chicken options, but other than that it was great. Staff was friendly and helpful, and did a great job, considering the fact that many other employees were outside protesting/striking VERY LOUDLY (with music instruments, including a full on drum set) at the entrance from very early in the morning to early evening hours, for the last 9ish days. So, about that…if you would like to sleep in, take a nap, or enjoy a calm environment, my advice would be to bring a very loud noise machine or go elsewhere. The only part of all this that bothered me was that we arrived on day 7 of the strike, and only learned it was happening when we got out the uber to the loud noise, trying to figure out how to get to the entrance doors. I would have appreciated a heads up to either cancel my reservation or to come prepared. Instead, we were offered ear plugs. The ones working did a great job, but Hilton needs to do better. We spent way too much to deal with their corporate issues throughout our stay.

I was very disappointed with stay ! They knew that they will have people protesting outside hotel but they still put people on that side of hotel ! Waking us up at 6 in morning with loud noise! Hospitality and organization horrible!

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

Think before booking - their staff is currently (6/24/2026) protesting starting from 6:00 in the morning through the evening. I was on the 6th floor and woken up every morning by banging drums and chants from the protest in front of the entrance. I asked to relocate rooms and was told I can’t and that they wrap up early evening so it’s not a big deal.

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

Great stay for the World Cup, right outside the stadium! Only downside was some of the workers were on strike and they started at 6:30am banging drums, ringing bells, chanting…and even on the 21st floor we could fully hear them.

Strike going on very noisy room dirty shower filthy. Very poor experience especially paying $600 for a room! Very disappointed

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

When we first approached the front desk for assistance, the staff was not helpful. We explained that the noise was excessive and that our room was directly above the strike activity. The only solution offered was a pair of earplugs, which was presented in a dismissive and somewhat ridiculing manner. We felt our concerns were not being taken seriously, especially considering we had paid for a hotel stay expecting reasonable peace and quiet. After escalating the issue, the General Manager did make an effort to address the situation and moved us to another room, which significantly improved our experience. I appreciate the manager’s willingness to help; however, guests should be informed in advance when there is an ongoing strike that may substantially affect their stay. Had we known, we may have chosen different accommodations.
