The first thing I joticed was how quiet it was in my room despite being only on the 5th floor in downtown on a World Cup match day. Secondly, the the staff were extremely helpful and friendly in answering my questions about how to navigate down town. The room and grounds were clean and well kempt.

The next morning at checkout, I requested to speak with a manager; however, none was on site. I was informed by the front desk that my concerns would need to be addressed through Expedia and that I would then be issued a refund. On May 27, 2026, I spoke with Expedia, who contacted the DoubleTree on my behalf, but the hotel refused any responsibility. I then called the DoubleTree directly and was transferred to the General Manager’s (Jerry) voicemail, where I left a detailed message but never received a return call. This lack of response was completely unprofessional. Expedia ultimately reimbursed me $25, but I never heard anything further from the DoubleTree. As a former Hilton Diamond member, this experience was extremely disappointing. I recently returned from a week-long business trip to Seattle, and as a result, I chose to book my hotel with Marriott instead.
