Old vibe hotel, but well maintain. Near many attractions, walking distance. Mostly the Sky View Observatory, which was across the street.

- staff was very friendly and helpful. - breakfast was excellent. - enjoyed the decor in the room and in the hotel. - the pioneer square link station is just outside the hotel. - pike market is walking distance from the hotel. - in general, lots of dining places nearby. - one sad thing was the problem of homelessness that was evident in the neighborhood. many seemed to be high on drugs but did not cause any problems.

Lovely hotel. You really can feel the history of the original artic club. Authentic. Correct period design and quite comfortable. Bed was perfect for my sore hiking muscles. Breakfast was fine. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

First night I have 4 stars just because I heard a lot of fire truck sirens etc. When stayed after the cruise, only heard them once. Great place to stay especially if you like historic building. Breakfast was amazing for selection. Staff was also amazing. They let us go to room before check in since room was ready. Highly recommended. Close to all amenities in Seattle also
