We have stayed at this facility in the past and really enjoyed the experience. We even hosted our son’s wedding rehearsal dinner there. This experience was less satisfying. We came in on a Saturday evening about 8:30. Our check in experience was fine but when we went to the bar for a nightcap it was a mess! There were dirty glasses and plates with food on them everywhere. The staff was stretched way past capacity. We went to the bar to order and get our drinks, and were then challenged to find a clean place to sit. The wait staff were dressed in worn out and unpressed uniforms. The liquor selection did not include our favorite and commonly stocked whisky, and the price was excessive. Then, the room assigned to us was tiny, perhaps designed for miniature people. One positive point was the breakfast cafe and its friendly staff. But in summary, The Arctic Club and its employees looked tired and despondent.

This was the best hotel I’ve stayed. Definitely top 3

Unfortunately, the surrounding area was a major downside. There were a significant number of homeless people in the streets around the hotel, which made walking in the neighborhood uncomfortable at times, especially in the evening. This is certainly not the hotel’s fault, but it did affect our overall experience and is something future guests should be aware of when choosing this location. Overall, the Arctic Club is a lovely hotel with great service and accommodations, but the surrounding neighborhood leaves something to be desired.

We were so excited for o stay here, but our experience was underwhelming. The rooms were just ok. The hotel was clearly under staffed, especially in the bar area. Service was slow. Dirty dishes were piled on tables. When the bar food arrived, it was cold and didn't taste good either. On a positive note, breakfast was excellent.

    Quiet room

A beutiful well-maintained historic hotel. Great breakfast!

Cleaning staff was great. Front desk not so much. There was a leak in our room resulting from water coming from floor above according to maintenance staff. Front desk asked us to stay in the room which was not reasonable. He gave us keys for another room on another floor. We moved ourselves. There were no apologies or recompense. Also to get luggage out when checked out I could not take elevator down where stairs weren’t involved. Going out the front meant stairs. No staff to help. A kind hotel guest helped me. I would not recommend this hotel nor would I stay there again.

Nice hotel. Old and full of character but clean and comfortable rooms. Lots of history in this hotel! Good location. Better than it looks from the outside. The main entrance and the cleanliness on the exterior don’t do it justice.

We stayed here for a short overnight trip to watch a Mariner's game. The location is great! The station to catch the train to the game is literally across the street. The stadium was just 2 short stops away. VERY comfortable beds and the rooms were BIG. The complimentary breakfast was like going to a sit down restaurant. The Polar Bar is so cozy and their cocktails were very yummy. We will definitely be staying here again when traveling to Downtown Seattle.

    Great!

Poor service at happy hour. $75 valet parking! Stained rugs in the room. I’m a terrible part of town so many sketchy people we didn’t feel comfortable walking at night

very rustic, unquie style rooms. great bar and staff

    Amazing place.

Architecturally gorgeous and aesthetic. Great location less than a block to transport stops and Starbucks. The area around the hotel becomes a little sketchy once the sun starts to go down/businesses close, so I didn’t feel very comfortable wandering after dusk. During the day I had no concerns at all. The bar area was relaxing and a nice place for the evening, especially as a solo traveler. Bed was very comfy and included free breakfast was a great perk!
