Big room. Comfortable bed. Warm shower. Road noise from main road. Motor bikes seemed to do some racing during the night. Window didn’t shield the noise well. AC wasn’t strong. Reported to reception, they wanted to look into that. Only stayed one night. Cannot confirm maintenance.

Based on our stay, cleanliness of bed and pillows is something thay needs to be improved.

Semarang offers so much more than initially taught, off the touristy itenary, with exquisite architecture, delicious local food and fascinating history. The city is home to an array of cultural festivals, local entertainment, a testament of Javanese theatrical and cultural traditions. The little Netherlands in the old city offers stunning architecture of the 17th century, when Indonesia was a Dutch colony, where most buildings colonial in style, includes medieval, baroque and modern eras styles. Showing flourishing signs of rejuvenation, this city has one of the best preserved and restored historic centres in Indonesia, with charming streets, colourful neighborhoods, secret alleyways, flower markets, lush gardens and parks, perfect climate and gracious people. With its harmonious blend of multi- culturalism, multi- faiths and multi- backgrounds, the melting pot of Semarang is a true microcosm of Indonesia as a whole, from ancient temples, to ancient churches, monumental museums, all the way to modern-day Middle Eastern-Javanese mosques, showing that the assortment of religious places, are as striking as they are different, and the fact that they all exist in the same city is a true testament to the acceptance, harmony and appreciation for diversity of Semarang. Amazing, thank you Up-Peak hotel, and it's welcoming staff. Far from main core

The location is near Simpang Lima and it's on the main road. The food is nice and homie, the hotel bedroom is clean and comfortable, the TV channels are great. As a solo traveler, I like the environment, not too crowded but not too quiet either. But most of all I like the services from the staff, they're so nice and friendly. The check in was fast and I didn't have to wait too long. The lights above the TV and table are not too bright. I found it a bit annoying since during my short stay, I had to work with my laptop under the dim lights.

Location. Limited parking space.

Not soundproof. I stayed at 8th floor. Even when the windows were closed, sounds of traffic & people talking were really noisy. Foods were dissappointing.

The breakfast wasn't bad, just a few dishes tasted bad such as spaghetti aglio olio which the noodle was hard and tasteless. I got double deluxe room for Rp 1.125.000 but it was not worth the price. The room was small, the towel looked dirty (the material and the color was blackish), The shower booth design made the whole floor wet.
