Beji Ayu Homestay

Lovely staff. Lots of pillows on comfy bed. Close to the dentist we booked. The room coffee had sugar in the mix, but lovely staff gave us their coffee to use? Exhaust fan in the bathroom ? TV didnt work, staff tried to fix. ..but think it needs replacing tbh. Tiny bathroom with not much counter. In our room cold was hot for shower? so if no hot water. ..try the cold tap?. This irritation is for booking. Com in that I selected twin beds on ground floor...but none avaliable, so we had to share the Queen that was avaliable on ground floor. Seeing I can toss in bed terribly, my poor mum had to endure that all night? wondering how I give them that review? Could have had more power points.

We only had one night here but it was perfect, room was clean and bed was super comfy. Plus the staff was super friendly!!

Unfortunately there was very little we enjoyed The outside wall of our room was covered in gecko feces which attracted lots of flies and bugs, we had ants in our bed, on the toilet and toilet roll, our room was half the size as advertised and the bathroom a quarter the size yet we payed the same price. We had an obvious blood stain on our sheet, our room was flooded by the air con which washed the gecko feces on the floor into our room, the kettle never stops boiling so when we tried to turn it off i burnt my thumb. When i went to reception to complain/request another room there was no staff member contactable, the bell to call them didnt work, so we just left and came back late at night, 'slept' and left the early, the next day.

Quiet. Big room. Not well cleaned. Doors have various gaps and someone can peek in. Old furniture. Coffee cup is horribly stained but changed to cleaner upon request. 2 main electricity supply trip when I was boiling water.

The stuff was super friendly and agreed to change the room, after I saw the locker was broken and the window didn't close properly. It wasn't clean, the bed sheets had stains on them and there was a strong bad smell coming from the toilet.

The twin room was a decent size. Drinking Water in the room. Shower pressure so good that it made the shower head fly off the wall, however the staff did replace this for us as soon as we asked and we had no issues after that. Asked for a hairdryer and one was provided. Quiet at night Got out of a grab on the drive on our first night and due to it not being very well lit, stood on a rotton grid i did not see, that I then fell through up to the top of my leg. I cut my right leg and arm quite badly. I informed the man on reception in the morning and told him its dangerous and needed to be fixed. He said "sorry for the inconvenience" and that he would get someone out to fix it that day but 4 days later when we left it still wasn't fixed. Never usually write negative reviews but when it comes to safety, especially if children are staying there I believe it is important. I'm still left with cuts that I think will scar and a very bruised leg.

I wish I could say something but I was disappointed in the stay. Perhaps the size of room being large was good. AC was not cold at all. Even on lowest temp and max fan it felt warm. The bathroom smell of rotten eggs, and it didn't matter if we washed the drains, the smell kept on coming back. It was also dirty, looked like it hadn't been cleaned properly for a long time.
