Grand Balisani Suites Hotel

Sort of average but run-down hotel in a non-optimal location in Seminyak. Probably OK for a few days if you do not expect too much and get a room without mold (not ground floor). Mold in the room. Drainage did not work. Got rooms that are probably not usually occupied because of the mold problem. Hotel management unresponsive. Location not great. Save yourself trouble and avoid.

The rooms were reasonably spacious at first glance. Beds were OK. The personnel was generally friendly. The management is to blame, not them. The rooms had a strong unpleasant smell of cleaning agent. After opening the door for an hour, the smell changed to a smell of mold, which the cleaning agent was supposed to cover. After one night in the room, with closed door (AC was on), the smell of mold was very strong. This is a health hazard and we asked the hotel for an earlier check-out. The reception and later the hotel manager agreed, also to refund the remaining three nights. However, when contacted by booking.com (and myself) several time to confirm the change in booking, they did not respond (not reachable by phone, email, whatsapp). Now I am paying for three nights I never used. I am visiting Bali frequently for transit to other islands. Among the 10 or so hotels I had in Bali, this is by far the worst. And it is the first time ever I am leaving a negative review. Be warned! Apart from the mold problem, the hotel has a bit of a ghost town charm. It is located at the end of the beach with little infrastructure around, certainly not a nice area of Seminyak. I did not really mind for a short stop in Bali, but not a good destination for long holidays.

Nothing Hotel is bad, no maintenance at all. The bedcover is dirty and made our body felt itchy. Water full of salt.

The hotel's location is excellent, right on the beachfront with beautiful ocean views and a peaceful atmosphere. The traditional Balinese architecture gives the property a unique charm, and I especially enjoyed the fish ponds throughout the resort, which add to its relaxing ambiance. Another great advantage is the convenient location, with supermarkets, convenience stores, restaurants, cafés, pharmacies, and other essential services all within a short walking distance. The staff were always polite, friendly, and very helpful. They made us feel welcome throughout our stay and were always willing to assist whenever needed. The hotel is in need of a comprehensive renovation. Many of the facilities show clear signs of age, the furniture is outdated and worn, and several bathroom fixtures are heavily corroded and should be replaced. While the property has great potential, the rooms no longer reflect the standard expected for the price. The biggest disappointment was the water quality. Both the tap and shower water were extremely salty—it genuinely felt like showering with seawater. This was uncomfortable and significantly affected our overall experience. Another issue occurred on our first night. We were assigned a room directly facing a sewage drainage opening, and a strong sewage odor constantly entered the room, making it very unpleasant to stay in. Unfortunately, the hotel was fully booked, so there was no alternative room available that night. I have a nasal allergy, which made the situation even more difficult despite using air fresheners. Fortunately, the staff moved us to another room the following day as soon as one became available, and I appreciate their efforts. However, these issues should be addressed to ensure future guests do not experience the same problems.

I love that they have a nice pool big villa, and bar service at the pool , good breakfast and beach right in front and the staff is great. Well my check out supposed was supposed to be beetwen 12 and 1 pm according to my booking but it ended up being they asked to check out at 12pm so i had rush, because in my reservation it said i could stay till 1 pm o was still trying to enjoy the hotel but then had to rush out, i think that is misleading to say on your booking that you can check out beetwen 12 pm and 1 pm and then rush your guest out. And well the bathroom sink had big ants constantly and well that was not normal. So that was the only things i did not like.

Serene and beautiful location and maintainance, paddy field inside the resort, display of cultural heritage. Very peaceful resort.

Location & huge room Pool decking is a bit old and needs replacing

they need to spend a bit of money on air cons, tv's fridges etc.,everything in the hotel feels like its all from the 90's and not working very well or if at all. Pity casue its such a lovely old hotel...

Location Room service

Location away from busy Seminyak but either a short walk or taxi drive away. We loved being in our own private villa which had direct views of the beach and our own pool. The Villa was comfortable and had everything we needed. The lighting inside the Villa could be better very dark.

The location is amazing,and staff are friendly and helpful The hotel is a little run down and tired looking and could do with some upkeep .Doors get stuck ,lights don't switch off etc.

Grand Balisani Suites Hotel is a way to return to the Bali of old. The resort has Balinese style architecture, wonderfully friendly staff, a good pool, location next to the beach. The room was very roomy with a luxurious bathroom and great AC. The restaurants close by on the beach are not only terrific for meals but have the best sunsets. The breakfast is adequate ... but not great. It is exactly the same day to day. The pushy massage person could calm it down a bit.
