The staff was outstanding. Polite, helpful, cheerful. The place could use a facelift. Maybe moss-laden sidewalks was the look they were going for but I’d get a second opinion. The restaurant staff were exceptional. The food….adequate. The room was comfortable. The bathrooms….stoic. In my reviews, I usually end each with whether I’d stay again. Sadly, I must report…no. With some TLC and a good designer, this place could be coveted. See above

We loved the old hotel, gardens and pool. So comfortable. The staff, especially in the restaurant, went above and beyond to see to our every need. Lovely people ❤️

It’s a little sanctuary of trees, flowers and serenity. The pool is already clean and inviting, and the black-sand beach is right outside the gates. From property to beach and watching the sunsets is magical. There’s nothing not to like about this property. And if there was, the service and the professionalism and detailed attention of the staff would make up for it. They all go over and beyond to ensure your comfort. You are treated like family by the staff.

The environment is beautiful, it has a private beach (not ideal for swimming but it's beautiful to see the sunset). It has a big and deep swimming pool. The staff at the reception were very helpful and nice. I couldn't communicate in English with most of the staff at the restaurant of the hotel, and that was very frustrating.

Loved my stay here! An older hotel but very well maintained. The value for money is amazing, comfy bed, big room & good shower. Very clean & the staff are super attentive and kind. Pool area is super relaxing, direct access to the beach The location wasn’t my favourite, no restaurants, massage or mini mart walking distance or beachside cafes. I ended up having to hire a bike to get around.

Came here during low season and Ramadan and the resort was empty, so the price was incredibly cheap. Location is good, the Senggigi center is in walking distance. Not the best for backpackers though, you can't do much in this area.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a lot of choice and the room was very large! The hotel grounds were kept neat and tidy! The decor could use a bit of an upgrade… the room and furniture was dark. The bathroom could use some upgrades and TLC. The bed was quite large, but it wasn’t very comfortable.

I dropped a cup of coffee that I made in my room at 4am when I woke up. The cup broke and the coffee spilt all over the floor so I used a towel to wipe it up as there was nothing else available. I told the first house-keeping staff I saw in the morning and the told the Reception Staff when I checked out. They then proceeded to charge me AUD$11.00 for the broken coffee cup and AUD$20 for the towel!!! I wouldn't even have minded paying for the damage altough I sort of think this cost is part of running a hotel but I think these prices were ridiculous/exsorbatant. I only paid AUD$50 for the room. What would have otherwise been a great stay ended on a bad note. I'd like to point out that the Receptionist was lovely but whichever Manager she called, made this call.

Loved the pool here, the staff were absolutely wonderful and were always friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable and room was very clean as was the whole hotel. Beautiful gardens and surroundings. The location was a little far from town but I knew that when I booked. I walked to town most days but it’s easy to get a taxi there and back.
