First things first: at €29 you cannot knock any hotel in a major European city. Top bargain and full marks! The staff was friendly and helpful in recommending a late night pizzeria. Best of all, they provided under cover shelter for my motorbike in the locked back yard. This certainly exceeded my expectations. Thanks Can't thank nor blame the hotel for this, but I witnessed the most magnificent inner city rain-shower from my window. What a sight! I read a review from a guest who stayed there just a few days before me, complaining about smoke in the room. I was quite apprehensive when reading it before booking. Indeed this is a non smoking hotel, but unfortunately many guests smoke out of their windows on a warm summer night and presto, the smoke comes into your room from those inconsiderate customers below. The disturbance was less than the previous guest wrote and I would mark it as a minor to medium minus. Not much the hotel can really do about this, except posting more no smoking notes in the rooms and particularly on the windows. When I arrived 2 out of 4 light bulbs worked, by the time I left next morning 2 were flickering two were dead. Just a bit more penny maintenance would do wonders! Same goes for the shower, the water pressure was a bit hit & miss but still acceptable. However, a good rinse with commercial bleach would do wonders against a slowly creeping mould infestation. Not yet worth writing home about but ....

The location was good No Aircon a small fan was avalanche (I know it's cheap and cheerful), a very aggressive message sent about check in times, most the plugs were broken and going into the wall of the room.

Close enought to the metro line No warm water in the shower, no ac in the room, the hotel is impregniated with cigarette smoke smell. The king bed kept separating into 2 normal beds everytime i moved in the night and flatout made me fall on the floor in the morning.
