The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance of the main sights with the Setas being particular close. There is an offer of a cleaning service everyday which is good and the staff were relatively helpful until there is a problem.... On our last night staying here, there was an electrical fault in our room which meant we were left with no aircon, wifi or other amenities. We had come back from an afternoon out and were NOT told that the electric had gone down by staff, we had to find this out ourself (after climbing three flights of stairs as we had the penthouse room). We were offered another room in another hotel which wasn't a like for like switch (downgraded from a penthouse with roof top view to a room with a view of another window - see pictures!) and not offered any refund in difference in price. We've followed up to complain and have been told that "it's not their fault" although we've had to take on the extra cost and inconvenience of this as the customer as though we were the ones at fault. We also asked for a taxi to our new hotel and was refused so had to walk 15 minutes with our luggage in the heat. The lack of empathy to our situation considering the price we paid for this room was not good enough. It was not our fault and we were made to feel it was. If you stay here and run into an issue, don't expect the staff to be supportive or helpful, or give you any compensation because "it was not in their control". This was very very poor with a total lack of awareness for customer service. We followed up to complain and until this day, still haven't had any response. This experience tainted our stay.

Great location close to Las Setas but easy to get to all the sights by foot. We had the penthouse room which had its own terrace with an outdoor shower, which in the 40 degree heat was a life saver. Staff were all great and helpful. They WhatsApp you every day to see if you want your room serviced or any refill of tea & coffee but very good communication all through our stay. I can’t say there was anything that we disliked about the hotel.
