The staff were really helpful and lovely. The beds were comfortable. The location was excellent. The plumbing was not great in our room - the shower took a while to drain and ended up spilling over the floor while in use. The hairdryer is not good at all. I’ve seen previous reviews about the pool area and lack of sun loungers and I don’t know why management hasn’t improved this - there’s plenty of room on the bar floor for loungers

Very well situated, easy to get around on foot, extremely friendly staff who drew us a map on places we should go, played the semi-finals of the world cup on the big screen on the roof. No notes, perfect stay :)

The location The bathroom was not clean, hairs Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing. The room and bathroom did not feel properly cleaned, with hairs left in the sink and even an ant in the bed. Breakfast was also quite limited, the fruit did not seem fresh, and I found a hair on my plate, which was very unpleasant. In addition, the swimming pool was supposed to open at 10:30 a.m., but it was still closed at 10:40 a.m. Overall, the cleanliness and service did not meet our expectations and could definitely be improved.

The receptionist Pablo was exceptionally welcoming and informative. It’s a brilliant location for the Plaza de España Alcázar and catedral. Lots of cafes nearby. Loved the roof top pool area. It wasn’t busy when I went later on in evening and first thing in the morning. It was busy at around 5 pm. It’s only a small pool but the views are amazing. It is open from 10.30 to 8.30. You can also borrow towels at the bar. It’s also very close to the bus station for Comes buses and the tram stops. Our room had a frosted window facing a row of pipes. We didn’t pay a lot for the room and the rooftop swim area more than made up for it but if you wanted a room with a view make sure to specify you don’t want an internal room. The hairdryer was not great and you had to keep pressing your finger on the start button to make it work. Would have liked the pool to open at 10 so you could have a quick swim before heading out for the day and it would be great if the pool was open until 9.30 so you could watch the sunset.

The location is perfect. 5 minutes to the cathedral and just 10 to the riverside. Perfect location for people with reduced mobility as the area is flat and smooth. Check in was smooth and super efficient. Thank you Pablo. This was one of the most informative check-ins I have ever had. ( I work in a hotel). Excellent experience and information, everything you needed to know was covered at this time. WiFi details, bar times, parking instructions etc. The rooftop bar is amazing and has stunning views. Air conditioning was controlled from the room , so could be adapted to your requirements. Everytime we returned to the Hotel we were greeted with a friendly smile and verbal acknowledgement . Customer service is 10/10 we are definitely returning next year The entrance to the garage was extremely tight. I had a medium size car similar to a Peugeot 3005 and I just got through the opening in the garage, I couldn't get a match between my car and the post/wall. This did disturb me for when I left. However when I mentioned it Pablo reassured me that the space to get out is easier. It was !!

The location is perfect - walkable to all main attractions with cafes and restaurants close by. The view from the pool and Sky Bar. Overall aesthetics especially communal areas. Staff dealt with a leak very quickly and moved us to another room. The lounge area around the pool is small with deck chairs and you’re all on top of one another. Space could be repurposed from Sky Bar to make room for more lounging space.

The location is perfect, we loved the pool and the hotel was very clean. The staff were helpful and friendly, especially the younger man on the reception desk. He was great, he gave us lots of helpful recommendations for places to visit and restaurants to try. The only thing we weren’t keen on was the price of breakfast.
