the hotel is situated pretty high and rooms have a beautiful views(when the weather is clear) and it had very comfortable beds and everything was clean. It is easy to reach with Maglev from the airport. the food for breakfast was exceptionally fresh and good (we have tried Asian and western options. Everything was good.

Right across the Shanghai tower with easy access to metro. We had the “river view” room and even though could not see the Oriental Pearl Tower, the view is still excellent. The A/C temp is not really changeable. We just turned it off when it got too cold. No instruction of how to use coffee maker and no trash bags on all cans. Not sure if they are trying not to use plastic bags.

Great location and splendid views. Breakfasts are excellent, range is wide, quality is great. Rooms require refreshment, feels like they are 15+years old. Queening at breakfast is disappointing especially when it is 2 hours before the closing.

The location and the view from the room were good. Unfortunately, that is where the positive experience ended. This hotel is absolutely not worth the money it charges. The service was disappointing from start to finish and nowhere near the standard expected from a Grand Hyatt property. The most shocking part was the cleanliness. When we entered the room for the first time, there was a huge black hair lying on one of the supposedly clean towels. This was disgusting and immediately made us question the hygiene standards of the hotel. For the price paid, we expected a premium experience, but instead received poor service, lack of attention to detail, and cleanliness issues that should never happen in a luxury hotel. We have stayed in far better hotels in Shanghai for significantly less money.

Everything was great! The location was perfect - just next to the Shanghai Tower.

I love the size of the rooms, it was big and very comfortable. I love the layout of the bathroom, I enjoyed looking at the view while I was soaking in the tub, the Balmain bath products smelled good. The hotel had a very good location. Great looking building as well!

Location from main attraction Last year I booked grand hyatt Tokyo, their customer service was overwhelmingly, much more than what i was expecting from them. Here staff are not friendly, room is very hot , i ordered twice from room service, first time they got me complementary bread, following day i ordered basket of fresh bread received exactly the same bread from day before whereas in their menu they wrote i will have danish pastry, muffin, croissant….

I was on the 61st floor, the view was breathtaking, highly recommend I liked everything, service was perfect
