Amazing rooms and view, special and beautiful design of the hotel, stuff are truly remarkable and helpful. Everything was perfect, one of the best The elevator to the hotel is long and doing headaches cause of the high floor, and you can’t directly go to your room from elevator you have to get to the lobby first

The design. Lack of communication with the personnel, led to various misunderstandings. The dinning in the room after 21:30 was terrible, only the club sandwich was edible. The 120th restaurant is only good for the view. Spa prices were ridiculous, the 2 hours deep massage was more expensive than the suite, and a subject for haggling.

The room is spacious. The mattress is very soft and comfortable. Breakfast is excellent, has both buffet and A la carte choices. There is no a solid door, only a glass divide is between bedroom and bathroom. It's lack of privacy when one needs to use toilet because could be seen by someone standing outside of the bathroom.

The hotel itself is very good, but the view from the window does not match the photos at all. There is another window behind the one you look out of, and the whole effect of the city view is lost. In other words, you shouldn't expect fantastic views of Shanghai. These views can only be seen from the floor where the reception is located. The rooms themselves are good, all new.

The staff’s English level was very low, which made communication difficult. The service and hospitality were very poor, and I wasn’t satisfied with anything during my stay.

Breakfast was absolutely outstanding, both in variety and quality. The views from the hotel are breathtaking, and we were fortunate to enjoy a guided tour with Eve, who was simply wonderful. Not only she showed great knowledge about all the details in the hotel design and vision, but she was also extremely kind and dedicated to giving us attention and making this a memorable stay. It is rare to experience such a seamless combination of luxury, care, and warmth. J Hotel Shanghai exceeded every expectation, and we cannot wait to return.

I stayed in the J hotel for three nights. It was an amazing experience. It exceeds my expectations for a hotel in all aspects. I strongly believe that whoever travels to Shanghai, as long as financially capable, staying in this hotel is a must. Otherwise, the trip to Shanghai would not be considered complete, and you will regret it. The breakfast was excellent. The variety and quality of the food were all exceptional. Only suggestion is I hope there will be oatmeal, although you can order on the spot.
