Shanghai Linxi Hotel-Free shuttle bus to Pudong Airport and Disneyland

The breakfast was good and the location was near the airport. Also, a free shuttle bus picks you up and drops you off. at the airport. There were no slippers provided.

Shuttle bus to airport. Room is too old and did not look well clean. Rain shower in the bathroom was too slow. Staff were barely speak English. Only one Japanese restaurant nearby.

The room was spacious and clean. The check-in staff was helpful and they could speak English and understood my basic Chinese too. I love the airport shuttle service: they are efficient and on time (if there isn't heavy traffic). This is a great hotel if you have a layover in Shanghai and need to get to and from Pudong Airport. They have a shuttle service every hour, on the hour, from the hotel and does drop-offs and pick-ups at Pudong Airport's terminals (20min past the hour and 30min past the hour at terminal 1 and 2. Please ask the hotel for more details. You can contact the hotel via Wechat (they'll give you their contact details), so make sure you have internet access and a Wechat account before your airport pick-up to let them know you're there. I don't like that people are allowed to smoke in the hotel lobby. I have asthma and there was someone smoking right at the check-in counter. It affected my lungs and breathing that night. I think the hotel should have designated smoking areas and think about the health of the guests and their staff members.

I appreciate the free shuttle service from the airport. When entering my room, it did smell smokey. I expressed this to the staff member, but they insisted it was a non-smoke room. Thankfully it wasn't too strong; however, whenever someone smoked outside, it would get under the door. I also heard people's conversations at night time so I recommend bringing earplugs for better quality of sleep. At the reception desk, it was always busy. Some guests cut in front of me to talk to the receptionists. I didn't take it personally, but I would've appreciated the receptionists noticing this and had the other guest wait. Breakfast isn't included in the reservation through Booking.com. When I went, there was a kind worker who helped explain the breakfast process. She accidently mixed up my room card with another guest and I had to fix this. It wasn't a big deal because she was busy helping multiple guests at that time. I do appreciate the reception desk quickly fixing this issue. Overall, I liked how close this hotel was to the airport and it was a comfortable stay!

The room was very cosy, clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff were really helpful and accommodating, and the free shuttle to the airport is excellent! Also, there’s a very nice cafe meters away. The heating in the room was difficult to operate and more lamp lighting/less overheads would be nicer.
