Excellent location by the river. Great view

First night was ok, second night was not We never got to try any of the hotel facilities as everything went into lockdown for unknown reason and without a warning for most of the duration of our stay. Cops everywhere. We had to close curtains permanently so the room with a view wasn’t worth it

The breakfast buffet is repetitive.

Room Staff at the front office deducted the deposit WITHOUT NOTICE and mentioned that I will receive the fund back on the same day after checking out.... 7 hrs passed until now, no communicate no update not received the funds back Pls consider if you wanna stay at this place, tne hotel staff working not PROFESSIONAL at all

The location is unbeatable, right on the Bund with stunning views and within walking distance of many shops, restaurants, and attractions. The hotel was very comfortable throughout our stay, and the staff were excellent—friendly, attentive, and always happy to help. It was the perfect base for exploring Shanghai.

I was upgraded to a corner room with a view of the river and it was wonderful. The check in desk was also very personable and helpful. Across the street are a variety of places to eat - perfect location.

The breakfast buffet was excellent, though it features the exact same spread every morning, which got a bit monotonous after a few days. On the plus side, their room service is great—incredibly efficient, and the food was consistently delicious. I would love to stay here again.

You pay for the location not for the quality of the hotel

The location directly on the Bund is unmatched — from here, everything is walkable. The room views are equally impressive. Ultimately, location is the primary reason to choose this hotel, and it delivers completely on that front The staff, particularly at check-in, were not especially warm or welcoming. The hotel itself is also showing its age, with visible wear and tear in a number of areas. At this price point, you are largely paying for the location rather than the overall experience.

Rooms facing the river have a fantastic view. View from bar also amazing! Very comfortable. Nice decor, bed, bathroom. A bit far from nearest metro, so either need to walk quite a bit or take taxis. TVs in room not connected; one of them unplugged when I arrived.

The service at Char restaurant was pretty bad for the cost of the meal. The food was okay. It was nearly empty on a Saturday night, which likely reflects the quality.

We LOVED this hotel & would stay here again without question. Excellent location on the Bund with great views of the skyline. Huge rooms, incredibly comfortable beds, great bathroom with robes and slippers. Very affordable. Great location for walking along the Bund and exploring. Nothing!

It was fantastic to stay here again. We love this hotel right on The Bund. Good gym, nice pool, fantastic breakfast. Super comfortable bed with amazing pillows. Pool not open until 8am :(
