The room was generally quite clean but there was some urine smell in the toilet area even after flushing. Spot some food stain on the utensil in the hotel resturant. Abit disppointing for the international hotel brand.

Free Shuttle to and from Disney + The Bund, Free complimentary Snacks and congee. Close to the airport. Seems family friendly. Bus is on time as scheduled. Clean, dated and convenient hotel close to Disney. Our room on Level 6 had a random step that was overlooking the roof, granting the bed was comfy. Lots of smokers outside the main foyer, no designated smoking area? Or was that the smoking area? Even through the lobby you'd smell the second hand smoke. Hope there was more lighting at night, after the last bus ride form Disney, the driver dropped us off on the street instead of the front of the foyer area, front was crowded with a couple of vendors and smokers.

Great location for Disneyland. They provide a shuttle bus to and from Disneyland Shanghai. Make sure you book in advance (2 days before departure). They also have a shuttle bus to downtown, make sure you ask the concierge for the schedule and booking. The room is a standard Novotel chain, which is always great, clean, and comfortable.

I recently stayed at the Novotel Shanghai, and I would easily give it 9 out of 10 stars. The hotel itself is fantastic—the facilities are top-notch, the rooms and common areas are immaculately clean, and the overall atmosphere is incredibly peaceful and quiet. It truly offers excellent value for the money. However, the absolute best part of our experience was the staff. Most we interacted with went above and beyond their normal duties to make our stay comfortable. I want to give a very special mention to the Chief Concierge, James. We unfortunately ran into an issue outside the hotel with some people who tried to scam us, and James was nothing short of brilliant. He went entirely out of his way to help us navigate the situation and make sure we were safe. A hotel is only as good as its people, and thanks to James and the rest of the team, our stay was exceptional. Highly recommended! The internet connection was a bit choppy at times, but to be fair, I found that to be the case everywhere in China, so it certainly didn't ruin the experience.

The massages service was too expensive for the service. The lady staff was very good. But the male staff did the massage too hard and didn’t ask for any health conditions before the massage session. I know he was doing his best to do a very great job for massaging with good intentions, but that kind of rough massaging could be harmful for the people with health conditions. So, I suggest you need to ask the customer about their health conditions before doing the massage.

The hotel and its grounds are absolutely wonderful. It is very easy to get to Shanghai Disneyland, and the shuttle service is excellent. I especially liked the hotel staff, they were friendly, professional, and made the stay even more enjoyable. The room was quite small, but otherwise everything was excellent.

Great value for money. The room was amazing for its price and the shuttle service is really convenient so we planned our activities around it. All the staff are courteous, even with the language barrier. I love our family's stay here!
