Shanghai Autoongo Bund Hotel

Moldy patches in corridor ceiling in fifth floor.

Great location, lots of things to see near by. Pretty modern interior. Smaller than I imagined. The basin for the bathroom was in the room. Minimal space to put belongings or hang items. The window looks out to another guests room. Was a bit difficult to find. No English tv channels.

I loved that we had the biggest terrace lol. Location is Prime - near Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street area and the Bund. Staff was friendly. Nothing.

Natural light in the room is limited.

Location was great! I would stay here again! Building is old but my room was clean.

Everything’s ok

The best part about this hotel in my opinion was the location. It was located right around the corner from yuyuan garden with many shops and restaurants right downstairs! The staff were so kind and helpful. One night I wanted to order food for my son but the app was not in english so the guy working the night shift helped me order the food. He was so patient with me and got me exactly what I wanted. And then it got delivered to my room by a robot it was so cool!! The room was clean and perfect for a few nights in Shanghai. It was also walking distance to the bund and other tourist attractions. Would definitely recommend! N/A

The location is unbeatable, right at Yuyuan Garden and only ten minutes walk to the Bund. A metro station is at the end of block too. For the first time visitor to Shanghai, this hotel is the best price for the immersion into China. This is definitely a more local hotel but it is very spacious inside and quiet. What it lacks in polish, it makes up in comfort, space, and proximity to the exciting Bund area! The hallways are worn, but the rooms are clean and have high ceilings.

I booked a room with a tiny window, which made the room dark

The access by car was not easy, and the elevator was a bit confusing,

The bathroom door had no lock and had a big gap on the top so the privacy felt a bit hampered.

The location is amazing and the relation price quality is fair The noise in the hallways early in the morning or late at night is hard, you need to use earplugs

I liked how clean and modern our room was. Location to the Yu Gardens and Bund was within walkable distance. Location with the metro was also near by. No breakfast was included, especially for how much it cost.

Hotel room is clean and spacious with the balcony outside our room. So we can chill there at the night. need to walk opposite road to get the taxi

You cannot beat the location of this hotel, right on the edge of the Yu Garden mall area, built to resemble old Shanghai, five minutes from Yu Garden, six minutes from the Bund, close to other sights. The staff are quite eager to help, and although not always english-speaking are quite adept with online translation. They are wonderful. The room is perfectly adequate, but you are staying in a place built to house a lot of tourists. The walls are a bit thin and the wifi never worked.. But, again, not a problem unless you plan on spending all of your time in your room instead of exploring Shanghai.

Great location from the bund and the metro. The room has a wonderful patio with a great view of the Yu Garden. The bed was comfortable and there was good water pressure. Some small maintenance issues with the door on the bathroom, but was fixed promptly.

Location near yuyuan station and yu garden, souvenir shop everywhere...

The location is UNBEATABLE, right next to the Yuyuan bazaar area. The room was spacious and fresh, with the largest wall-mounted tv I've ever seen. A couch and a comfy window nook were great for hanging around and resting a bit before bed. The beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom roomy and clean - great water pressure in the shower! Super comfortable after long days walking around. There's a McDonald's just three doors away in the direction of the bazaar if you want to grab Western food for breakfast, otherwise the Yuyuan bazaar area sells all kinds of great food. Also two White Rabbit stores next door, if you want to stock up on sweets or snacks. The Bund with gorgeous view of the Shanghai skyline is 15-20 minutes' walk away. I'd definitely recommend it to friends, and would gladly stay here again. The reception area looked very run-down and messy, and the corridors to the rooms smelled a bit damp. The room itself was super clean, though, so pity about that first impression.
