Sharm Reef Hotel

This is my second time at Sharm Reef, the hotel has great chefs, food variety with a very high quality, both the pool and beach are awesome, especially for snorkeling lovers, a huge variety of marine life and beautiful coral reefs will make your day. All inclusive experience definitely worth it, as the pool snacks specially the pizza & drinks are a nice treat in between meals. Most of the staff were nice, welcoming & hospitable, Mohamed Shehta from the restaurant & Tarek Fathi at pool bar are good examples for that. Last year it exceeded my expectations, this year it didn't. The hotel was exerting much effort in replacing the floor tiles in the front of restaurant area, which is fine but renovating the old family rooms must be given the highest priority on the management agenda. We have waited almost 3 hours for our room to be ready then placed in a room with an old malfunctioning air conditioner, thanks to Mr. Haytham Mansour he has relocated us to another room. Still in the second room one of the air conditioners wasn't working as it should and they sent someone to fix it. It was not efficiently fixed but its performance was a bit acceptable. Both rooms were old, which is something we as Egyptians usually don't make fuss about. Though giving much attention to renovating the rooms (and replacing/fixing the air conditioners) should have the highest priority.

The staff is soooo amazing. They are so friendly and smiley. The beach area is also really nice. I wish you could stay longer at beach (only until 6 pm) and if the bus was more frequent.

1. The hotel is exceptionally clean. 2. The reception staff are incredibly friendly and always try to help, especially Mr. Abdul Rahman. 3. The housekeeping is fantastic. 4. The maintenance team is professional and responsive. I complained that the air conditioning in my room wasn't working properly, and they went to the room immediately and fixed the problem, even though the request was made late at night. 5. The variety of food in the buffet is amazing, and the food tastes wonderful. 6. All the chefs are very friendly and considerate of your preferences and requests regarding foods with allergies, especially Mr. Wael, who is in charge of the dessert buffet. 7. The animation team is entertaining and very friendly, and the daily programs and shows are fantastic. 8. The rooms are very comfortable and spotlessly clean. 9. The swimming pools are exceptionally clean. 10. The landscaping and green spaces are beautiful. 11. Although the beach is outside the hotel and rocky, it is incredibly charming, clean, and full of relaxing spots. It's perfectly equipped to spend the entire day, from early morning until sunset. Some of the waiters at the poolside snack bar are rude, unfriendly, and unprofessional towards guests.

The pool A complete review ((The “Beach” Is Not a Real Beach)) The hotel description claims it has a private beach, but this is misleading. There is no sandy beach at all — only a snorkeling spot located far from the hotel. You cannot walk to it; the only way is by the hotel’s shuttle bus, which comes once every hour or sometimes every two hours, returning to the room for any forgetting items is not an option. The snorkeling area itself has no sand, no normal beach setup, and no place to relax with your family at the shore like other hotels in the city. If you are not a snorkeling enthusiast, it’s simply not worth visiting. Also, your all‑inclusive package does NOT work at the bar or restaurant in the snorkeling area — everything there is extra charge. ((Wi‑Fi Is Not Free)) Another unpleasant surprise: the Wi‑Fi is not free. When I questioned this — because Booking.com clearly states the hotel offers free Wi‑Fi — the staff told me it is only free in the lobby, not in the rooms. So you either sit in the lobby or pay extra. Honestly, this feels very outdated in 2026. To be fair, not everything was bad. The hotel has a beautiful pool, clean and well‑maintained facilities. So the problem is not cleanliness or the physical property — the problem is that the hotel promises more than it actually delivers. I booked an all‑inclusive package, and the price was very good actually. And to be honest, it felt like a very good deal, and I did this before so the price wasn’t felt weird . I’ve stayed in many all‑inclusive hotels before, and some manage to offer great value without charging too much. This hotel is not one of them. I felt I paid far more than what I received. The food and beverage options were very limited, low quality, often not enough for the number of guests Even the pool snacks were always insufficient. And when you ask the staff, they give you a polite but empty smile and tell you to “come back in five minutes.

Generally speaking , I find this hotel as my best place to stay in Sharm. This is my 3rd stay in and plan to repeat my stay there. Location is not that close to Naama bay and old Market .

Every thing Nothing

Small, cozy and clean! Good food, but needs variety. More grilled and authentic Egyptian stuff needed - we never saw Kofta, for example! It can be too quiet a place for children’s liking; our kids complained about poor animation shows during the day and at night!
