Rooms are clean, food amazing, staff are good, location near the ridge?

Bed sheets dirty, shower curtain with mold, not possible to use shower for hot water, walls, floor, all dirty. And forget about sleeping if your room is outside the kitchen/reception area

It was under renovation due to new ownership. This place has immense potential for which I have to rate 10 and ignore the tiny inconveniences during arrival. We had no clue cars weren’t accessible to here and it’s up a steep climb. I thought i would rate it 3 or 4 the arrival night for the hardship. But the second day it wasn’t that bad.. well accessible to mall road, that steep was only a small walk. Ignoring small hiccups. Really this place has immense potential to be an amazing stay. Wishing all the best.

First most important thing was location..it was too difficult to reach there specially if you have luggage and a child. They even didn’t bother to help you with your luggage. Another thing was as we booked king suite but roof height was too low to be stand by a 6feet tall man and it was not mentioned anywhere on the booking platform. We had to downgrade our room to suit with Mountain View. But hotel charged us for full amount of king suite only. Other than this when we asked for late checkout till 3pm they asked us to pay extra. According to them check out time was 12pm so we have to pay extra for remaining late checkout hours. Manager was very uncooperative. However other staff were good.

Kitchen treatment was excellent ? Foot mats unavailability, window side privacy was 0, tb door front of the bed n others.

Proximity to Mall road. Approach to hotel by car is very tedious with extremely narrow roads. Parking is difficult.No elevator. Family suite on top floor very dusty and quaint with lot of noise from Roof top monkeys and birds and some king od of machinery maybe A/c

Lovely clean room in a quiet location above the Mall. Walking distance from the centre of town. All good but it’s a steep climb up like most of Shimla. Good cardio!

NO LIFT in hotel, inclines and steps to go up to reception/ rooms. Terrible location especially if you looking for it at nite, as no proper signage. Is located very close to church/ Ridge/ Mall road BUT CARS CANNOT GO beyond a point on the the STEEP roads, hence EXTREMELY DIFFICULT for elders, and Middle aged people to go UP the slopes, or down to the Mall,without Local small cabs that are not frequent,nor easily available.Only few Premium rooms have a view. Frequent power outages, so keep your phones charged. Food is not bad. Bathroom curtain rods need to be lower to avoid water splashing out.

This is a very good hotel, with comfortable rooms, helpful staff, the most amazing views, and above all, *quiet* (apart from door banging early in the morning, which seems to happen in all hotels, to a greater or lesser extent. Perhaps they could consider putting some soundproofing tape around door frames to reduce the noise?) And it's a good value for money. One point is that there is a very steep climb from the Ridge, which is really demanding when you arrive, because of the high altitude. I would recommend using a taxi to arrive.

Very good staff and food and also I like the location close to the Mall road.

The cab driver didn't take us to the right snow point which we came to know later through a friend. My friend showed us the pics of that place which was hardly 7 km away. Maybe the commission on the horse ride package was more than the 4x4 ride.
