Very nice staff, clean I’m not ok with them charging extra payment portal fees that aren’t disclosed while booking. I paid an extra 4% for the razor pay fees. This should be included when I book. The required app is a huge hassle. I went to the front desk just to ask for towels, but they told me I had to order them through the app. I went back to my room, spent 20 minutes digging through emails for confirmation codes and completing check-in forms, and it still didn’t work. In the end I had to go back downstairs anyway and manually type my credit card info into their computer. For something that claims to “simplify travel,” it was incredibly clumsy. Sometimes you should just be able to ask for towels and get them. Checking in takes a long time and is a headache. It feels like you’re applying for a visa, so many questions that they have no need to know. What’s my occupation got to do with my hotel stay? The beds were too short for me. (183 cm) Hostels in general are problematic. People snore and are rude. Guys who weren’t even in our room were coming in and out all hours of the night and using our bathroom. We reported it to the front desk but by the morning they were already gone and there’s nothing to be done. And it’s not even that cheap! I was in a group of three and so it would have definitely cheaper elsewhere to get a hotel. And then we would have our own private space and wouldn’t have to deal with rude people. And maybe in a good location.

Built nicely They do a scam about the money. I booked through booking but the property said I didn’t pay. What they do is to take your credit card details like you pay but they don’t really charge you. After a long discouraging conversation with about it, they sent us a new link so we can pay through it but the thing is, the commission is higher than it was so you must pay more. Also we were 3 so we booked the 4 dormitory and because of it we didn’t get towels even though we payed more. And the shower’s stream is almost not existent.

It was very clean and neat. Staff are very friendly and helpful. From the time of booking itself I was getting proper instructions from the team. They properly guided to reach the location. I had some difficulties for speaking in Hindi but it was covered up by the English speaking staff. Mr.Gaurav who is AGM, helped a lot and guided

Located almost at the top of the mountain, the location and view from the common terrace area is amazing. Its only a 10-15 minutes walk from mall road, but the climb could be exhausting for non trekkers. The north indian veg food was amazing. Highly recommended for solo and group travellers.

It was a wonderful stay here in hosteller shimla,loved the view , very neat and clean environment,beds were very comfy also made a new friend Vibha who was very kind and helpful.

The Hosteller Shimla provided a wonderful experience. The clean and well-maintained rooms were a highlight, and the staff's hospitality was top-notch. Mr- Sandeep And Vibha stood out for his professionalism and helpfulness. They made our stay even more enjoyable. Love the Mall. It's clean as it is no vehicle zone. Church, Library, Municipal Office and shops are very good.We highly recommend this hostel
