Nanki-Shirahama Marriott Hotel

The only negative was the restaurant lol but the hotel is nice

New clean luxurious Air condition seen too warm and we can not adjust it, even we called the service. Staff said this temperature applied all the hotel

Nice hot spring bath in my room with great view, and the Salad in the dinner service was exceptional delicious The mini bar was empty, I had to buy the beverage and snack outside from the hotel

We enjoy the half board meals at the hotel especially the excellent 4 nights dinner. We like the modern interior in the room including the comfortable bed. The staff are professional and cheerful. Non

Huge hotel rooms with excellent facilities. 50m from the stunning local beach. Lovely onsen and spa area along with nice relaxed hang out/viewing spaces high up in the hotel and in the main reception area. Great washing and drying facilities onsite were very welcome too. Pool was closed for the season on arbitrary date that does not reflect the reality of the weather. It was still mid to late 20's in October which was why we picked the town and hotel for a beach break after walking the Kudo Kumano

Hotel was not clean, Al lot of filthy floors and the dinner buffet was expensive with low quality. They were unable to make a reservation for 3 taxi's a day before we needed them, their solution was to ask again on the day self and hope that taxis are available. The only backup solution was that we should take the bus.

Nice resort. The pool was nice but it closes at 5pm. The public onsen was nice. The room was large. The property is on a hill which we had to bike/ walk up every time we went into town/ beach.

The rooms were comfortable and the hotel had a swimming pool. The hotel did not have a very easy access to the beach. We had to walk up the hill after enjoying a day at the beach and that was not fun with all the gears and afternoon heat!!

Location was beautiful. Rooms were spacious and beds comfortable. Restaurants and lounge were enjoyable and staff was excellent! Pool wasn’t open yet, and no shuttle to the train station

Location was perfect, close proximity to the beach, convenience stores and local restaurants. We booked an ocean view twin futon room which was ideal for us and our 3 toddlers. The facilities were nice and clean and the staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. Amenity kits for our kids were provided in our rooms upon arrival. Free hotel parking. Not many hotels that I’ve stayed in Japan have room service but this one did until 10pm. The breakfast was very good, lots of western choices and a variety of options. The fact that there weren’t any amenity kits inside the room already, they had an amenity cart in the main foyer to collect from.

Fantastic private onsen and sea view. Large room. Everything in the room is as clean as brand new.

The pillows were a bit to big for me, but that is a matter of taste. Not really a complaint. You need a car (I had one, so it was fine).

Location was decent but a bit of a walk away from everything. Pix were deceptive and implied it was right by the beach but it was up a hill and sea view obscured by the car park. The staff were lovely though. Very dated. Seems like it would have been new on the 90s. The private onsen was a bit grotty. This is supposed to be 5 star but the facilities were far from luxurious.

Breakfast was good, but very busy. Run down, in need of refurbishing. Room was really hot which made it hard to sleep.

easy access to all tourist spot. check out time should be around 11:00am 10:00am check out too rush .
